You must try their food. If your Looking for all you can eat authentic southern country cooking at its best this is the place to be I now have family from all over the United States that make it a tradition to yearly stop in at shealys when they visit.

It was my 1st time going and drove over an hour to get there. It's country cooking and BBQ!! I recommend the pully bone. Price was reasonable and was full after 2 plates. It's a buffet style.

They are always super busy with a line out the door, so expect to wait but, the good food and the friendly staff makeup for the long lines. I have been here three times and every time the food was very very good and have a good selection of all you can eat rice, hash, vegetables and barbecue. They also have an excellent salad bar and dessert bar. I do especially love that while you are waiting in line there is a hand-washing station so that you can wash your hands prior to eating. I really wish that other restaurants would follow after them with this. If I was in the area I would go again.

If you're dying to pig out and don't mind gas fired BBQ and sugar in everything this is the place. One of the better buffets you'll ever find for $10. Love the nice ladies and fried chicken, livers and gizzards are the secret treasure. You can't go wrong for the money.

Good BBQ, everything was good, buffet style. Upon arrival, there is a hand wash station on the way into the restaurant, pay for your food, keep the cards you receive when you purchase your food as you will surrender the tickets on the way out. The meats are good, the wide selection of vegetables are fabulous. Save space for desert! Guard against over eating!

If you love good southern cooking and eating as much as you can hold this is the place to be. The staff is great and ready to make sure you're glass or coffee cup is always full and empty or almost empty is Mohammed out the way so you can get more than this is the place to be. Come and enjoy especially with family.

Great food. Corn need to be mixed better to avoid big lumps of flour (?). Price is not bad because the food is worth it. Customer service is not the best (only applies to a few).

The food here is fantastic and there's always an amazing selection. It costs a pretty penny, but is so worth it. The staff are always very nice and the building is always very clean. The only downside here is that it has picnic style seating, so you're more than likely going to have to sit next to strangers.

Best BBQ place in the country. I grew up going to Shealy's every summer. It was always the best and has only improved. Note that they're famous for their South Carolina BBQ, which is mustard based. It can be an acquired taste. They are also now offering NC BBQ. I love both. The best is the meat sauce ("hash") over rice. It's all authentic and an amazing experience.

Last time I gave them a good rating, but today they get one star. If I can give them a zero I would. They gave my dad the wrong order and when he came back to tell them they got nasty and rude. I will be taking my money else where.

Hands down my favorite BBQ place. I have been eating at Shealy's for over 20 years and it hasn't changed. This place is no frills. Most BBQ places are only about the meat, but Shealy's also has an impressive sides game (the green beans are a must). There is a reason this place gets featured on national food shows, like Andrew Zimmerman. The food is consistently good.

I'm From Illinois and only get here about once a year but I absolutely love this place both the atmosphere and food. If you like good southern home cooking this is the place to come. I love how everyone sits at long tables together and it's such a friendly experience. The staff is great and the sweet tea is the best too. Can't wait till I can come back.
