the farmers market has the worst rest room under the sheds no vents no fans for fresh air they need tile on floor and the wall they stink tell hugh e weathers he needs to look at them but hold his nose in south carolina we can do much better than this m c hope denmark s.c.

Columbia used to have one of the finest farmer's markets in the country, located by Brice Stadium and the State Fair grounds. They had large stalls for local produce, and wholesale vendors with their buildings all bunched together. You could buy virtually anything within a very small area, and it had a character and ambiance that was special.

Now, they've relocated it far away to the south of town, very inaccessible, and the vendors are all far apart. The local markets are disordered and unexceptional. And it conforms to every other farmers market virtually anywhere in the country. You can't really tell what's local and what isn't.

VERY disappointing. Pass.

Needs some improvement. Very nice design to accommodate large crowds and many vendors. Very nice, modern buildings and plenty of space to expand.

This market is a bit of a disappointment. Unorganized, messy, unclear signage. We kept seeing signs pointing us to "Judy's Market", yet, there appears to be no such place. It's the kind of place where it seems like you missed the instructions. Spent a lot of time driving around aimlessly. We did buy some good produce but it's more like a flea-market atomosphere and everyone working there seems unhappy to be there. Just not pleasant. It could be so much more.
