Recently moved nearby and have been wanting to try Shark's. Finally had a chance and we were glad we came. They fry seafood to perfection! We had the fried fish and shrimp and they were both excellent. The restaurant itself has no atmosphere, a poor beer selection, but the frying makes up for it.

Like another reviewer said, we stopped by while we were in the area, because it was conveniently located and it had great reviews. What an excellent little place! My husband and I each had a combination that included shrimp, Pollock, and a crab cake. The crab cake had NO fillers. Just delicious crab! Everything else was excellent, too. Would absolutely recommend it. Very reasonable prices, too. Great service!

Stopped on way home from beach because of the great ratings. They were correct. Service is great as the staff was happy and more than attentive, food was superb and prepared as requested and prices are more than reasonable. Consider this a 10 star rating. Very easy to get to. Am here on vacation from southern Mass and definitely will come here again when we return.

Unfortunately this was one of my favorite places in North Port to get fried oysters. This last visit I was told they no longer have oysters, will probably be getting rid of scallops as well, and I overheard a lot of talking about customers. That will be my last visit to Sharks.

Portions were goodstaff was nice. We accidentally stayed about 15 mins after they closed and didn't realize it, they were very nice and didn't try to push us out the door. 👍

Affordable family owned local "dive". If you like your seafood battered and fried you can't beat the price. Staff always friendly, and the place while tiny, has a homey atmosphere. The fried clam and coconut shrimp is tasty.

We stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday and the wait staff was very attentive. The food was delicious and the prices were extremely reasonable. we will go back again and again.

For being a seafood restaurant this close to the Gulf I would have expected to have some fresh seafood but everything is frozen. None of the fish is even a local frozen fish but from Alaska or Vietnam The options for cooking style is limited to fried or grilled. Disappointing

Very good food. It is simple, and yummy. I would say the portions are just the right size. I wasn't overly full but I was definitely not not full.
