Enjoyed learning about the history of the bar! Tried the gumbo, coconut shrimp, and fish taco. All were tasty! Staff was very friendly, too.

This place use to be great, but now they have an old fart at the door that will only give you a table if you eat dinner, really? The owner must be dumb as a bag of hammers, it's the drinks that make $$$$$. No wonder they only do dinner, cause business sucks. Get a clue dumb f#@%.

Great fish tacos! Watch them made in the open kitchen behind the bar. Low key friendly and busy place. Lots of other menu choices, mostly sea food based. 3 types of tacos available, fish, shrimp and tuna. I like the fish the best but all are great.

For being a casual bar, the food is phenomenal and service fantastic. The frosty AC was a respite from the 115° heat. Radio station was hella bad with worst of the 90s/00s pop. Our server agreed and changed it. He was a real cool guy with a New England accent.

Seafood platter app has 3 of each item, which didn't make sense for our table of 4. But it was all great from the crab/cheese stuffed mushrooms, coconut shrimp, oysters Rockefeller and clams casino. The tuna ceviche was fresh and delicious. Sidewinder chips are like nothing you've ever had, but in my book they are from the french fries category and they're awesome. Pro tip: Experiment with some of the various chili pepper sauces on them.

You must save room for a fish taco. They're big, so two would be plenty after apps. Alaskan cod was my choice and it's as good as I've ever had.

Hands down my favorite seafood spot in America. Definitely sit at the inside bar and watch Ruben the chef do his thing. The guy is a master! He takes orders, cooks, and cleans all at the same time. He's pretty much a ninja. One of the most talented chefs I've seen.

Fish tacos had dry, hard tortillas. Probably because of the long time we watched them sitting on the grill. The fried fish was Luke warm/cool.
Maybe because it's in season and too many people to give the service I'm used to.
    Just not what I remember.

A little hole in the wall that is always full of people. speaks for itself. You want good food? Go where the locals go. The staff are always friendly and you get that feel that you're in a small cantina in Mexico. Always an awesome experience coming here. Oh and the baja fish tacos are THE best. One of my favorite spots and I'm sure it will be one of yours as well.

The food is great always. Even when delivered by 3rd party services. The wait staff could use some better training however. They tend to not listen very closely.
