AMAZING FOOD. Everything here is amazing, I've never disliked anything they've served me. I used to dislike chicken and waffles before I tried theirs. The servers are also super friendly and accommodating.

Have brunch i n this place and it will give all those places in the Clinton hill bed-stuy area a run for their money. It's very moderately priced as well

Visited for lunch and had a great experience The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere with music playing etc. The food was fantastic, the best omelette I've ever had and was a good portion size for lunch time.

Intimate spacing. Great atmosphere with true old music playing making you dance to and in your seat. Courteous service. Amazing food - My personal faves are the cinnamon donut waffle, fried whiting and cheese grits. YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

Awesome food, great ambient, great customer service, freshly made food and coffee. Great portion size and excellent price. The toilet is also of very good size. We had brunch her and enjoyed every bit of it. The walls have portraits of notable people and the music is great.

First time coming here. Everyone said this place was great, but I thought the food was so-so. It had a lot of space though and it seated my large family with kids comfortably. I would go and try something else though.

This is not my first go around coming to Shane's, it's always a pleasure eating here. The food is great and service is fabulous every one is polite, respectful and attentive. Guys keep up the good work , with the neighborhood changing so rapidly the sky's the limit

This is my second time here. The first time it was crowded, a jazz performance was taking place and I was on a date. My mind wasn't on the moment it was making up knight in white armour stories with a black girl to the rescue.

Today I'm here to try the chicken and waffles. The Pink Teacup is the last place I tried that came close to Roscoe's. So far my experience has been okay at Shane's. I'm the only patron here today so hopefully that may mean something. The coffee tasted instant and if it's not instant it's weak. Either way it's appropriate, reminds me of diner coffee so it's setting the tone for chicken and waffles.

What can I say? They were awful. It's diner waffles, they are brown, but slightly tough, taste like letgo my Lego waffles. . My first thought is they were thawed in a microwave but no they are frozen nasty waffles.. The chicken was hot and crispy. Overall, this meal isn't close to either Roscoe or the Teacup in flavor. The chicken and waffles taste better when the crispness is the same and the seasoning Match. You can't use frozen waffles for that to happen. Sprinkle some seasoning in the batter, or in this case, put the spices on a pat of butter before you microwave the waffles.

Will I come back, probably but not for this dish. I just can't but feel that one-day the cook will remember his roots and cook with love and spices.

Friendly, hospitable staff and excellent dishes! I can recommend the Chicken & Waffles, Egg Benedict and Pancakes. Everything here claims to be made with fresh, never frozen ingredients, which must be true based on the freshness of the food. Go in knowing you'll wait some time for your food, but it's well worth it.

Nice cozy cafe. My taste buds must have been a little off with the fish. The service as expected, but overall the experience wasn't bad.

My favorite place to eat when I'm in Brooklyn, especially near the Eastern Pkwy. You will love the owner and the small shop feel, but the space will surprise you when it opens up downstairs. The food is worth the money you spend. Please get the Cinnamon Waffle! You won't regret it (unless you have problems with sugar.)
