Brisket cooked to perfection. I travel about 2 hours to get here and it's worth the time and money. Reasonable prices. Absolutely mouth watering food.

If you are in to BBQ this us a must eat place. The only problem you will have is choosing what you will eatcome early and avoid the lines but it is truly worth the drive and the wait.

The food is excellent, and the fresh meats are great - the peppered bacon is the best I've ever had. We bought three pounds a week ago, and I'm embarrassed to say that it's almost gone. We'll be heading out tomorrow to buy more!

We've only been here twice, but they have turned myself and my Wife into life-long customers. Both times the place was packed with a line all the way out the door. I am not one to stand in line for food, but let me tell you I'd stand barefoot in the snow for Shaffer's brisket!
Portions are generous, and the prices are very fair. Service is professional, and the place is spotless. I highly recommend stopping by!

The long lines are absolutely worth the wait. The food is phenomenal and the prices are beyond fair for the generous portions that you receive. We also purchased fresh meats from the butcher shop and we're not only impressed with the flavor but, the prices were fantastic as well. The brisket is one of the best we've ever had. The ranch potatoes are delicious and worth the extra crunches at the gym. You won't be disappointed!

Good Texas style food. Lots of meat. I had the 2 meat and 2 sides meal with cornbread. They give very generous portions. The brisket and sausage are both good. The sausage has a little kick. Also the cheesy ranch potatoes are awesome! Friendly service. You may have to wait a while in line at peak times. However it is worth the wait.
