  Given a filthy glass, there was hair wrapped around my catfish fillet, onion rings were soggy & inedible, service was just as bad. Stay away!

  I was in the Athens restaurant today at 3pm. We was seated right away and given a menu as we was seated. At 3:15 pm we was still setting there, no one came and took our drink order or ask if we was ready to order. Three different waitress walked by us on different occasions asking other diners setting all around us if they needed anything like refills and other things. This was my first time in your restaurant and was looking forward to trying it out. At 3:15pm I got up and walked out. I will never be back to your establishment and plan on telling everyone I know about my experience there. No stars given for no service at all. But had to put a star just to post.

  I always pass this place and finally decided to give it a try. Well worth the stop! Great food, great price, clean and spacious. Yum!

  I drove an hour just to eat at Catfish Cabin and I should have turned around when I pulled in the parking lot. The building needed a lot of repairs and the bathrooms were old and nastywhich is exactly how the food tasted. We paid $50 for a family of four and they only served catfish nuggets! My backed potato was hard and my son's fries tasted like they had been sitting under a warming lamp all day. I'm surprised they are still open and I'll never go back.

  I think maybe the daughter of the original owners runs this restaurant now. I liked it before, but the changes to their menu greatly improved the place. There are now more options for sides and desserts. Something is even slightly different about the fried foods too, whatever it is, I like it!

  The wait staff was very welcoming and friendly. The environment was quaint and clean. Service was very slow. Pricey for the quality and amount of food. The catfish was small, salty, and limp, and I have never met a sweet potato that I didn't like until tonight. It was mushy and tasted old. The hush puppies were hot and crisp and the tea was good though. I don't think I will return.

  Very good service. The catfish filet was small pieces, not what I thought it should be, but very good. The slaw is very tasty. And the fried pickles are awesome!!

  Fresh yummy catfish, hush puppies and coleslaw made the old-fashion way..small catfish fillet was a healthy size order. Seafood platter was commendable. Waitstaff a tiny bit slow but then..who's in a hurry
  otherwise no complaints..4 stars for food flavor
