For previous reviews on this thread. The previous owner Linda, which has the majority of unfavorable reviews, is no longer there. The new owner Laura is extremely generous and humble. She works with you very well and creates an easy, stress-free environment. We leased from her for 3 years and had a great experience. Always got our work orders in quickly and made sure things were in good order. If you take care of the property and clean appropriately upon move out, you will get your deposits back with no hassle. By far the best realty/rental agency I've worked with and being the in the military I've moved around quite a bit. It's been a pleasure leasing with them. If I get orders here again, I will be using them if able to.

In my opinion, this place is embarrassingly bad. I really don't think they respect their military. One lady actually had the audacity to yell at my husband. Once while trying to mention we were having problems with the house I was told by a worker there to "buy a house and not rent". I feel like if your rental agency's advice is to get rid of your rental agency by buying a house, then that should show how "great" they are. Half of the reviews are from people that work there so obviously biased. Renting from them was a nightmare!

Linda not only helped me improve my creidt score so that I could purchase my dream home, but she was honest about the housing market and other facts that I should know concerning home ownership. I found the buying process to be relatively seamless and stress-free considering what I've always heard about how hard and stressful it is to buy a home. I would work with Linda again any time!

Linda helped me and my wife with our first home purchase.  We originally came to her looking for a rental but Linda asked if we thought about buying instead.  We had talked many times previously about buying but did not think we were where we would need to be (credit, savings and down payment wise). Linda then got us in touch with a mortgage banker that told us all we needed to do was pay off 1 credit card and we would be approved.  We immediately paid that plus another off and when the credit cards reported the payments we made we got our pre-approval for the home loan.  Linda took us house shopping and made her schedule to fit around us.  She was never pushy or try to get us into a home we could not afford.  In fact she talked me down from a much more pricy home that I could "afford" because she wanted to make sure we were happy with our payments and not to get in over our heads.  Linda walked us through the entire home buying process and returned every call I made to her for every question I had big or small.  Linda cares about her customers Is very down to earth and provides the service you just can't find at cookie cutter Realtors.  I would suggest anybody who is looking to buy or even rent to go see Linda at Seymour homes.  I am happy to vouch for her services as top notch.

Linda just sold my home for me after only 7 months on the market! When I first listed my home she told me the average time on the market was 9 to 12 months. She took the time to explain in detail every part of the contract I was signing. She was very professional during the whole process. My situation was rather unique and required a lot of patience dealing with personalities and negotiations. Linda worked with everyone to make the deal happen. I am very happy and would definitely recommend the services of Seymour Homes.

I wish i had read and heeded the other review before going to rent from Seymour Homes and Linda. She is exactly how the other reviewer describes her. Our biggest issue was with the non disclosure of information. Once we finally got all the information we needed from her, which took over a week, we put a deposit down on a place we liked. When it was time to go over the lease she told us the homeowners had no intention of taking the house off the market while we were renting. NOT cool when the lease states that the landlord can enter the premises at any time during respectable hours without notice to check for compliance of the lease or to show the property to prospective renters/ buyers. We told her this was a deal breaker and that we would need a signed document stating that we would have notice prior anyone stopping by. She told us we would have a weeks notice, but would not put it in writing. We could hire a lawyer to draft up a document stating what we wanted changed, on our own dime, and she would then give it to her lawyer for review. They will not refund the deposit. In short. Save yourself the headache. If you do go with her company review the lease first before handing over any money. Make sure they are taking the home off the market during your lease.
