I had a great experience with Service King. They fixed my vehicle and even cleaned it for me.

Nobody cares and it's all over their faces. Lack of communication, delays, discovered they were attempting to use a refurbished taillight for my repair (job was further delayed waiting on correct replacement). Finally received my car with no walk through and it was conveniently backed in so I was not immediately aware that they failed to properly reassemble my backup camera. Thank goodness the service advisor Tim is no longer providing poor service to unaware customers. I was a repeat customer and greatly regret the "convenient" choice as I was not satisfied with their work or customer service this time around. When I brought my car back to have my back up camera issue corrected, I mentioned my lack of satisfaction with the job done as you could still see where they had attempted to flatten the crease in my trunk and the bumper seems to lack a clip or two on each end. The manager disregarded my comment so I am uncomfortable requesting them to uphold their "lifetime guarantee" and mending a poor job. I completely advise against trusting this chain with your automobile.

Great place to have your car repaired. Dennis the manager is both friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Do better. They fixed my truck. The Chevy bowtie was crooked. Then I noticed scratches still on my bumper. Not happy.

Not thrilled about the service here and definitely wouldn't get my car fixed here. Not that they were unfriendly, so-to-speak but definitely fishy. The Farmers insurance agent I've been dealing with scheduled the appointment just for an estimate. I get a call from corporate saying they have me scheduled for repair. I called the actual Service King here and she didn't know what I was talking about. No appointment on the schedule. I talk to the guy who adjusts for Farmers there and he says no, you're not on the schedule but come on in and gave me an appointment time. There's a sign on the front door that says due to all the hail, you can't get an estimate without an appointment. I show up on time and he's not with a customer, but it took a 25 minute wait for him to come out to take pictures of my car. I had been rear-ended. He didn't look underneath the car in his nice pants and the estimate was 30% lower than the estimate I received from a highly-rated, low cost shop by my house where they actually inspect the car. They only estimate by what they can see cosmetically and then probably jack up the price once your car is in the shop.

THIEVES AND SCAM ALERT! Under the Deceptive Trade Practices - Consumer Protection Act and the Texas Office of the Attorney General, "it is by law, illegal to knowingly make a false statement about the need for parts, replacement or repair service"

They are claiming my car has various damages of things that aren't broken in order to boost the damage value to total out my car violating the above law. The only way they would be broke is if the person taking the parts off did it. I have been a mechanic and know my way around cars. I know my vehicles like the back of my hand. They messed with the wrong person.

I drove my car in after hitting a deer (across the country!) and come back to my car today headlights removed, and various exterior badges I installed removed as well (why would you do that for an estimate, not to mention the fact THAT THIS IS THEFT, it is still my car). The advisor, Brandon R. told me I can't drive it home (after giving me my keys) because the hood wouldn't shut and the headlights won't go back in and because it's a safety risk. I drove the damn car across the country as is and the hood is shut in the back of their lot! Lies out the ass! Seriously something fishy going on. I called him out on their bogus estimate that listed things that weren't broke and he said "that's the way it is." He also said "insurance just paid for tear down" but I'm pretty sure they pay for an estimate, not to rip your car apart and leave you with nothing.

    Common Scams:
as listed on the Attorney Generals Website, the very first one says "waiting until the vehicle is up on the lift and partially disassembled before getting your authorization to proceed with the repairs. By then you are forced to authorize overpriced repairs or risk getting your car back in a disassembled and unusable condition."

Service King I seriously suggest you to fix this before it ends up in court.

My grandparents got their car back yesterday after Service King had their car for two weeks with little word of the condition of the car. Upon receiving their car back they discovered over $300 worth of merchandise was stolen. Is this how you all treat the elderly? My grandparents are over 70 years old and on a fixed income. This is unacceptable, the car was towed in by the insurance company so some sign that reads 'remove all valuables' is irrelevant. When you have been in an accident you aren't thinking of 'valuables left in the car'.

Such a bad service I got .. there is no options for 0 otherwise I would have given it 0 star .. this service sucks! Their adjusters didn't able to contact other side insurance .. ended up paying rentals from my pocket since they didn't contacted me and insurance company which was supposed to pay my rentals and manager sucks! He even didn't help me out.. rather than giving me a paper , he should have had helped me out with solutions.. I will never recommend this service .. thumbs down :(

Very unorganized. Employees do not seem to care about customers. They don't seem to pay attention to small details either. They did not do some of the work that was supposed to be done. I'm also convinced that they never made an appointment for me on the day they said they would. Keller instead insisted that it was for a different day.

I don’t believe I can adequately convey the depth of my disappointment with Service King, with Trent, with Kellen (or Keller or whatever the name of the young man who delivered my truck), and with David. I brought a truck to Service King about 8 years ago and received stellar service and workmanship. Sadly, that can't be said about this recent experience. My truck was brought in on Sept 10 with damage to the driver’s door, wheel, and fender. You quoted an expected delivery date of Sept 26. Of course, this was after it finally got on the docket on Tuesday, Sept 13, due to your Saturday tech not knowing how to properly intake a car, despite the fact that I asked him twice if I needed to fill out any paperwork or sign anything. And, despite the interaction I had with the very rude Christina who tried to place the blame on ME for not having paperwork filled out that I was never given. So, initial time estimate was 13 days, or two weeks.

Once that was taken care of you committed to staying in contact with me and, at first, that happened fairly regularly. Until that first missed delivery date of Sept 26. Then I had to call you. And your “reason” was that you needed a part for the door. And then it didn’t deliver on time. And then you needed to figure out how to install it. Finally, you called, only to tell me you were going on vacation and that Trent would be covering for you, but that my truck would be ready by Friday, Sept 30 “for sure” (direct quote from your voice mail). Fine.

After I didn’t hear from Trent on Monday, I called him on Tuesday. I related my story and he said you were WAITING ON A PART? WHAT. THE. HELL? I told him I expected daily updates and he refused to commit to that (although, to his credit, he did actually follow through with the requested updates, such as they were, on Wednesday and Thursday). When he does call on Friday to tell me my truck is ready to go he says they’re “giving it a bath.”

Finally, I get a call that my truck is ready. I go to pick it up and Kellen (or Keller or whatever his name is) brings my truck up and invites me out to inspect it. Yes, the door, wheel, and fender look fine and I can see that in an instant. I say, “Fine,” and seems surprised at the quick once-over and I say, “Yeah, it was only the door, wheel, and fender, which is why I’m flabbergasted that it took a month to fix that.” He says, “That does seem like a long time” and, once we’re back inside he looks over the repairs and then says, “Oh, I guess we just replaced all this other stuff for the fun of it, because we do that, you know.” WHAT? I didn’t even respond to the little snot-nosed brat, because I was so disgustingly disappointed with my experience all I wanted to do was get out of there and, honestly, I was afraid if I said anything he’d comment back with some other snotty thing and I’d have to punch in his little hipster face.

As I pulled out of the drive, I was greeted with the filmy, hazy, Vaseline-looking smears all over my windshield, mirrors, and door windows. Yeah, so much for that bath. I had to stop at a gas station just to clean my windows! As I was putting away things I had taken with me during the FULL MONTH I was without my truck, I noticed that some things I keep in the glove box were in the front seat storage and vice versa. What the bloody hell were your techs doing rummaging around in my glove box? I can’t imagine anything in there that had to do with the driver’s side door. And, then, imagine my joy when I got home and saw that your techs used the bed of my truck as a trashcan/ashtray. Also, I had inadvertently left a DVD of mine in the driver’s door. At some point it was obviously left out in the rain or something as it is now waterlogged. Nice. But, the cherry on top, the best thing overall, is that my back windows now don’t operate. Isn’t that lovely? So, either the part you waited TWO WEEKS for either doesn’t work or wasn’t installed properly. So, now I have to come back and subject myself to your “services” again. Yeah, I’m thrilled about that, David. Perfectly thrilled.

Update- When I went to pick up my car Trent took the time out to sit with my and apologize for the experience. He tried to make it better and I really appreciated that. For that reason I did change my rating. I'd just say to keep your customers updated, we all have a life outside of having to get our vehicles fixed and we can't revolve a whole week on Service King.

Horrible horrible experience! First of all I had to wait 2 months until they could get my car in. I was fine with that because I had used service king in the past and I loved their work.

So after waiting for 2 months I drop my car off on Monday they tell me it'll take them a week, again I was okay with that.

Sooo a week rolls by and they tell me that they have to wait until the following day, ok no problem.

The following day comes and NO UPDATE WHAT SO EVER, so I call and they tell me the guy working on my car is out of town until the following MONDAY!! I ask the girl, Christina, to speak to a manager she puts me on hold for 10 minutes.. when I finally gave up and hung up.

I called again the next day which is now Wednesday, I speak with someone who transfers me to a voicemail. I call again an hour later and I speak with another girl who tells me my car is waiting on a part to come in. I tell her my car was supposed to be ready yesterday, if it was waiting on a part why would they not update me? She tells me that the guy who works on my car is out and that's why I'm not getting any updates, BUT MY CAR IS STILL IN THE SHOP AND I STILL NEED TO BE RECEIVING UPDATES SO I KNOW WHEN MY CAR IS READY!! Still no updates on my car all Wednesday after I get off the phone with them.

So here comes Thursday, again NO UPDATES, I have to call and finally get a manager, Trent. Trent tells me my car is waiting for the pinstripe guy, then wash and last inspection, cool.

Now today is Friday and no update again!!!!! I call AGAIN!! After talking to the front desk girl I ask to speak to Trent, coincidentally he's in a meeting. He calls me 5 min later to tell my my car will be ready to be picked up in 30 minutes. Not even a minute after I hang up with him I get an update that my car is ready. I'm sure if I hadn't called my car would still be there until next week, if even that early! It's no wonder why there's a 2 month waiting list!

Why is it so hard to get an update? It doesn't matter if the guy who is working on my car left for the week, my car is still in the shop and I need to be notified if it is delayed just like your texts say "We will notify you of any delays!" I loved service king but I will no longer be returning to this horrible location.
