We used to love going to this place before it was sold to the current owners. Now the place has gone to hell. I reserved and paid for a studio room with two double beds. I got here after hours , picked up my key from the box, and found I was put in a small dirty room with dirty sheets and a blanket that smells like an arm pit! I needed two beds because my son was going to stay with me. He decided to sleep in the car and left his gun with me for safety because there is a creepy guy in the room next to mine. I tried to contact someone, but no one answered or returned my call. I pulled the sheets back and could tell they had already been slept in. The blinds on the window were so broken that they didn't offer me any privacy, so I had to use the smelly blanket to cover the window. My son offered to sleep on the floor, but the carpet is so dirty that I did want him to. In the end, we both opted to sleep in the car since it was too late to get another place. I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

I love it here manager and her husband are amazing treat people like family if you want to get way from everyday stress and this the place to come. I will always come back

"Stayed" if you wanna call it that, Sept. 26 2015.

So rude. The lady was racist and called my friend whose Birthday it was the "n" word. All we did was go to our room to change from the beach and the stray cats were running inside. We were trying to get them out and his polish wife just started screaming obscenities and kicking us saying we had 5 cars just leave when we just got there!! Never stay here. Rude and no customer service. Plus unsanitary bathroom and not to mention the stray cats who just come in and lay around like they are use to it. Beware.

We are very happy to be here again. We were a little nervous since Sea Cove was sold to new owners but our stay so far has been far tastic. Room clean, we'll maintained and very helpful staff. (Which definately deserve a bonus.management, hint hint)

You can't even have guests here If you have more than one car, you have to park it at the retail store down the street I was told to leave the property with my kids when I was hanging out with my friend that is actually staying here They threatened to kick him out if I did not leave the property with my kids So I left and walked to my car that I have to park at the Walgreens down the street I will never book the room here Also my friend told me that the mom-and-pop that own the place just go into your room to snoop around while you are gone and are not making the bed or replacing linens

BUYER BEWARE! HOTEL MADE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD MARCH 17 & STILL NO REFUND 30 DAYS LATER!

Expedia listing says hotel has "pay at property" policy. Credit card required to hold reservation, but it explicitly states NO CHARGES WILL BE MADE - payment to be collected at hotel during stay but SEA COVE MOTEL IMMEDIATELY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD DESPITE CLEARLY STATING IT 100% WOULD NOT!

I called right away, but listed number is a personal cell phone no one answered and the mailbox was full. Tried a few more times, then went back on Expedia and cancelled reservation an hour after I made it! (FYI: cancellation policy requires just 24 hour notice; my reservation was for April 6-8, and I booked/cancelled it on March 17.

A woman finally answered my call on March 22. She claimed to be issuing the refund as we spoke and said to wait 10 days. After 10 days & still no refund, I call back. She remembers me and assures me it's on the way. 3 days after that, she hung up on me and hasn't answered me since. SCAM! STAY AWAY!

The room is perfect for me, my fiance, and our 3 year old son. The people are very friendly. The location is perfect, my son loves taking walks down to the beach and splash pad then going back to the pool. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
