What can I say? I feel right at home when I'm here. Lol
It was a little disappointing! Not much going on. Granddaughter and her friend got to play mini golf. Nice gift shop. Alot of interesting things.
The staff at Screams is excellent. Emily does a great job presenting the town with her wit, charm and timing with puns. The waitress at the diner was very welcoming. It was fun and we'll be back.
"How the hell are you?" is the standard greeting here and it couldn't be more fitting. Mostly a lot of souvenirs with quirky sayings that you can also get at their online shop. Highlights include: fireball ice cream which tastes like cinnamon toast crunch cereal!, postcards they will send for you and even singe the edges so you know they went through Hell (ha!) and a small putt putt golf course. The golf course is pretty basic with no great structures or animated things but it was free the day we went so it was still fun and worth the time.
What an awesome little store. We are working on the pipeline in the area & this place made our day. I bought post cards for everyone. They will burn the edges & will also stamp it & mail it for you straight from Hell. They also have tons of gifts. I stamped some pennies & grabbed some cool magnets & T-shirts. Thanks guys for creating a place with such a great vibe.
This is a classic tourist destination. It's exactly what you would expect from the name and the colorful website and brochures, though surprisingly it's also quite beautiful in that Pure Michigan way. I recommend walking down by the dam or looking out over the lake.
But mostly I recommend reveling in the fun, especially if you love Halloween or horror or just plain silliness. They offer tons of photo opportunities, mini golf (Hell themed, of course), a restaurant, a saloon, and a gift shop/ice cream parlor/post office.
Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The food at the Hell Hole diner was delicious. My favorite activity was getting post cards singed and mailed! Definitely worth a day trip if you're in southeast Michigan.
Head's up: this place is a bit "middle of nowhere" so don't count on your cell service working. The diner did offer free wifi though.
why is it called Go To HELL! The food there is terrible. All the food is all sacrificed people and animals. The waiters are all minions of the anti-christ.
Super cute small town! I loved the big smiile I got when I entered the restaurant and love all the activities!
I love Hell! As a halloween buff I love coming here. Great things to see with lots of photo opertunities. The gift shop as tons of Hell and halloween merchendise.
Lovely place to visit. not often you can be told to "go to hell" and reply I've been there and it's nice.
Nice little gift shop located in Hell, Michigan. Not a huge selection but is all themed for a visit to "hell". They were lacking in bumper stickers/window decals. Great place for a t-shirt person.
