I attended the Xmas event 17 days ago. One of the items I purchased was out of stock and I have yet to receive the merchandise or a call. After I posted this review the manager Sylvana called me directly to apologize for delay and communication. She really showed an interest in my concerns . This tells me they are genuine about customer service. My product is in and she is even shipping it to me. I would also like to add that the staff have always been courteous, friendly and always helpful.

When is a company trying to hard to be chic? I went in to buy gift cards and was told by a somewhat disinterested person at what looks like a cashiers station that I needed to see a "Coordinator" as she pointed to the rear of the salon. What the heck is that? I need a cashier, a clerk, a rather low task challenged person to sell me a gift card maybe with a smile and a few nice words. heck some companies now even have kiosks that do that so why do I need someone called a coordinator to sell me a piece of plastic for a few hundred bucks? As nice as the place continues to be, the level of super chic being attempted is a bit over the top. Fancy names do not enhance the experience, getting up from behind what looks like a reception desk and walking me back to the cashier (sorry-coordinator) would be much more impressive.

My sister and I went here to buy Mac makeup for a summer wedding. We knew exactly which products we needed but after about 5 minutes of looking, nobody said hello or would help us. We walk towards the one girl working and she looked busy and walked away despite the fact that we were the only ones in the store. Thankfully the wedding was in Princeton, NJ and we bought all our makeup there!

I trusted the Scott Miller Salon to send my daughter there. I had called ahead of time and talked to a woman and was told that all of their stylists are fully trained by the salon. --The hair-stylist that cut my daughter's hair did not know how to do a basic long layer cut. It was all uneven, wherever on the head the hair was pulled straight out, it was very uneven. When the crown of the hair was combed straight up, the one side was over an inch longer than the other side. And the bottom of the back was choppy.

Absolutely gorgeous! Every time I stop in the staff is very welcoming and they know their stuff when I have a question about a product. They sell a lot of brands that you just won't find anywhere else in town like MAC, Jo Malone, Kiehls, and so many more.

I just moved to Rochester and after about 2 minutes of searching for a salon chose Scott Miller. I went to John who had the daunting task of fixing my previous cutnot only did he fix my random layers, the cut feels amazing! He cut some life into my thick, heavy hair that's perfect for spring/summer. I scheduled another appointment with him in 6 weeks. Some people have said the cuts are expensive, but honestly, $40 dollars is an absolute steal. In my experience, a cut like this runs at least $70.

Hair stylist training is not created equal: Scott Miller has created a small army of ridiculously talented and creative artists. I've been going to Scott Miller Salon since 2008. I've frequented BOTH locations: Webster and Pittsford and they're both full of friendly professionals. I've had Dan, Jill, Greg, and a few others cut my hair throughout the years. I have a LOT of hair, thick hair, and I vary from year to year in my styling options and fashion preferences. They all cut my hair with incredible skill, talent and professionalism, and every stylist has given me a "different look". I also had Sam and her bridal prep team style my hair and the hair for my bridesmaids (it was a Roaring 20's Theme, NOT an easy look to pull off), I wish I could share photos showing how amazing everyone looked. I've also used their spa services and the facials they do are INCREDIBLE, my skin looked like porcelain the day after. I also purchase products from time to time, out of all the ones I've tried, I always end up buying what I can't live without: Kerastase heat protectant because there's nothing worse than hair with split-ends. Last but not least 2 years ago I was 2 weeks away from my due date and almost fainted at my hair appointment: my son was resting on a main vein. The Salon handled my situation with discretion and responsiveness and even called my husband at my request. Trust me you're in good hands at the Scott Miller Salon. About price: is Scott Miller salon a little pricier than other salons? No, it's very affordable and competitive compared to other high-end salons. Now if you compare their prices to your run-of-the mill places, it's only $10-$15 more, and you get an amazing result EVERY SINGLE TIME, guaranteed. I'd rather pay $45-70 for a cut and style any day, tip my stylist well, and come back in 3-5 months than be furious about a bad haircut at $35 and have to go back to Scott Miller Salon to fix the botched job anyways. Trust me, I've done it and it's not worth it financially or logistically. It's a no-brainer. Scott Miller salon wins. Unfortunately now I have to drive an hour and a half for a hair cut with them, so I just go less often and make a trip out of it.

Scott Miller is an amazing place! They focus on teaching their staff, it really shows in the results. Not only am I always happy with my services but I see that everyone around me while I'm there are too. My personal favorites are Christine for cuts and Margarita for color, but my husband sees Lindsey and she does amazing work with his hair! It's also worth noting that I'm a frugal person and Scott Miller isn't the cheapest option, but you'll be happy you paid extra to get quality services!
