Terrible service. Don't answer phones and when they do they put you on hold so they can go on break. Salty asf about everything. Rude annoying and mean. Slow at doing any sort of work.

First, you have to call like 10 times before someone actually answers the phone. Second, I moved out of state to be with my husband who's in the military and all I wanted was for my records to be transfered. Went to the hospital at my current location, filled out the release form which had all of the hospitals info they needed, they faxed it right away, and now that its over two weeks later with still nothing back, I called the health department and they're just now telling me that they can't release them because the fax number isn't in the right box according to them. They failed to tell me this a week ago when I called them asking about my records. Went to the hospital and told them, we looked over the original release form I filled out. Fax number was right there, PRINTED at the bottom of page next to phone and address. The hospital here even said they've never had this issue. Called back the health department. The lady caught an attitude with me when all I was TRYING to do (she kept interrupting me) was tell them what the hospital told me. Moral of my story. Don't rely on these people for anything important. They just give you sass, tell you your wrong, and try to avoid work.

This is where poor people come to die, only they think they're getting quality care. I have very few choices in doctors because I'm on FL Medicaid, but I'm legitimately ill. I have some mental health issues that really cause me to not be able to fully care for myself. I understand, that's not their fault. However, when I'm OK and ready to get back to being whole again I can't even make an appointment. Now, by law, if a doctor drops you they must provide your dismissal as a patient by certified letter and refer you to another doctor. They have done none of this for me. I can be a handful, but I don't deserve to be abandoned. Which is ILLEGAL! I take full responsibility for my part, but they need to come to terms with theirs. As a Medicaid patient they are responsible for my primary care and specialty care. I was supposed to begin treatment in SRQ by the same group of people. A few previous appts had to be rescheduled and I understand that. The time I was there the doctor was over an hour late (I walked out of the exam room), by the time I left he still hadn't shown up. The nurses were literally stalking the parking lot waiting for him. Nevermind I drove from North Port to Sarasota for NOTHING. I was offered no apologies and was never approached to reschedule. The people that work here are clowns and they know it. I've been tempted a couple times to protest their facility in NP because that's strongly I feel about this. They are not professional and their staff is ill equipped to treat even the most minor of issues. DO NOT SEEK TREATMENT HERE! Even if you may be dying. All they'll do is speed up the process and make you even more miserable.

I was treated pretty well. There were a few patients that were rude, causing staff to be a bit on edge but they took it well. I went for blood work and vaccines. No blow outs or discomfort during my shots. They were very nice and super helpful!

I think people forget this is a health department, not a private doctors office. When charlotte county had a clinic, it was terrible. This place is much better. Yes, some of the admins can be a bit salty sometimes. But the nurses and doctors do their best. This place is funded. Where else can you have a doctor visit, your child have a doctor visit a dental visit, a lady appointment, lab work done and your prescriptions. Don't schedule appointments after your visit here some appointments can be a long wait. But overall they take care of you and are willing to help and correct any issue if you have patience with them. This location not only takes sarasota county patients but charlotte county because charlotte county doesnt have a health dept clinic. Cut them some slack.

Been here a couple times for my son and had good and bad experiences. The doctors and nurses I met were awesome. Very friendly, helpful, good at their job. The receptionists are not all that way. I've met 1 or 2 that were nice and one even helped me for about 45 min even after I had gotten there late with setting up my son's pcp so he could be seen. But most of them are extremely unfriendly and rude. Barely spoke or looked up at me. 4 stars because of the doctors and nurses. If I were rating just the receptionists I'd give 1 star.

Horrible place!! Every single time I go there I am treated like dog poo. Mean and rude people. I make an appointment for one thing and I get there and they nurses have no idea what I'm there for and have no idea what to do. I have never been mistreated by an office so bad. No to mention, I have had to take my own vitals off of myself before and then try to chase the assistant down the hall to find out what room she's bringing me to! When I call the nurses line, all I get is "make an appointment", I can't do that because #1 I've been there for the same issue 252728 times this year, #2 I have a full time job too!, #3 They don't even listen to my concern on the phone to find out how to go about my issue. Disappointed. I work in the medical field, no matter how I'm treated by patients and no matter how my day is going, I treat everyone with respect and I am kind!! But everyone at this place is just horrible! Can't wait until my new insurance kicks in!
