We went deep sea fishing and caught some fish. Brought it to the Sands Harbor patio and bar. They cooked it for us for $9.95 a person. That included fries and Cole slaw. I got blackend fish and my dad got fried. They were both delicious!! The server was great! I absolutely loved it. My dad's only complaint was his margarita was not very good. View was awesome as it is right in the intercoastal

Dated, but didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Friendly staff. Convenient patio bar and pool. Excellent place to stay when diving with South Florida Diving Headquarters.

One of the greatest places to go for food or drinks in South Florida. The atmosphere is perfect and relaxing. It doesn't have that over commercialized feel to it like a lot of newer places do. It feels vintage and authentic to the old south florida.

Great spot to eat and drink. Though the bartenders do not display any sense of urgency or signs of having a personality.

This a great place to take your boat to and eat. Just bring your fenders. The food and views were great. The waitress also seems to imply that restaurant guests were allowed to use the pool. I had a mahi mahi sandwich. The eating area had fans to make it comfortable to eat outside.

One of our favorite local go-to restaurants. The sunsets are awesome and it is always nice to sit outside on the water. Food is great too!

Perhaps the best blackened grouper sandwich I have ever had. A surprise in that there is a larger than expected and more diverse selection on the menu. You can even
enjoy their pool while eating. The kids love it. Their wine, however, is fair at best.

Nice spot on Sunday afternoons. Good music, drinks and food all in a relaxing setting by the intracoastal watching the boats go by!

Great location, right on the water. The prices are very reasonable, unlike many other intercoastal hangouts. The laid back environment, and great service round out an always great experience. Even allow kids to swim in pool if you are patronizing the restaurant and are not a guest of the hotel.

Spent another unfortunate family trip at the sands harbor resort. Everything was great except for the management. I used one of their ice machines to put a couple scoops of ice in our lunch cooler and was rudely interrupted by a lady named Lesley. She barged in and made us feel like strangers off the street. I was told I was going to be charged for two scoops of ice. She went on and on, not what I wanted to deal with first thing in the morning. After telling her she was an earful I got to hear some more. I thought I was dealing with a poor manager but it turns out it was a cleaning lady. I hope to have better luck at west palm next trip.

Took my parents (77 & 86) there for a reunion with my son. It was an awesome experience and would deferentially go back again - except i had two problems - my parents room was very 80's and out dated - with a wiry mattress - where my room was newly renovated with a great mattress. The worst part about this whole vacation was the Saturday afternoon bartender (May 20, 2017) didn't catch her name but she had dark hair and a puss on her face that could stop traffic. She was RUDE & NASTY so a word of wisdom - if you want to party and have a good time - STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUDE AND NASTY ASS BARTENDER !!!!!

From February 15th - 21st, my sisters and I stayed in the Penthouse at the Sands Harbor Resort & Marina. OMG!!! The views, terraces, floor to ceiling windows and accommodations were outstanding!!! We could see
both the inter-coastal waterways and the sun or moon exploding over the Atlantic Ocean. The staff was so very helpful and brought us everything
we requested. Their motto was "we are here to make your stay the best it can be!!!"
The PH sleeps six, has three bathrooms and a small efficient kitchen. It is a combination of four units and decorated comfortably. I enjoyed the live bands, drinking by the pool and the food was very good. As I was told, The Sands sits on a five-star location, but is only three-star
in decor, but that doesn't matter once you sit on your long terraces with a glass of wine watching the glorious sunset!!!! I can't wait to go back! Try to book the PH if you are going to Pompano Beach; it's worth every cent!!!! M. Baxter
