Very nice sophisticated decor and ambience, old-fashioned style steak restaurant. Attentive staff. Food is good.

I ate at Sam Snead's twice before leaving this review. I work at a hotel across the street and we can earn free meals for referring guests. I refer almost every guest that's ask me about dinner or if I over heard them talking about where to get food. A couple weekends ago I decided to use a couple of my free meals and go out to dinner with my fiance. I was so excited to try this place I had sent so many people to. It was very busy so we decided to make reservations to avoid a long wait. When we arrived we waited more than 30min for our table. When our appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) arrived it was delicious! We then did some more waiting, about 45 min later we finally got our food. It was cold and my fiance's steak wasn't cooked correctly. It was pretty disappointing. We were thinking maybe it was just because it was a busy night. So today we went back for lunch. I get an hour for my lunch break but they're literally across the street so I thought I had plenty of time. There were only a few tables seated when we got there. We were seated right away, then the waiting started again. We were there so long I had to get my food in a to-go box and was still late getting back to work. To top it all off, my food was wrong once again. I will not be returning nor will I continue to refer guests.

Service was excellent. Nicole was awesome. Thank you for recognizing my Dad as a Veteran. Burgers were very tasty.

Wonderful meal for friends traveling..so close to I-95 but not a chain fast food place. I had the chicken breast sandwich blackened with Bleu cheese and it was one of the best I have ever had. Exceeded expectations in so many ways. Great memorabilia and photos.

We have dinner here to and from VA. We feel like family. Everyone is professional and so very friendly. The food is second to none. In all the years we've been going to Sam Snead's, we have always had exceptional food and service.

What a great place to eat. The food is awesome. I had the Quinoa burger place tuna shashimi for an appetizer. The restaurant was laid back and cozy, the staff nice and service was great. Price wise, it was more expensive than some but one bite and you'll see why. This place is highly recommended for anyone in the Savannah area. I hate I didn't take pictures but the food presentation was perfect.

Great service. Our waitress was very accommodating!! Crab cakes are the bomb!!! Within walking distance of hotels; so enjoy the cocktails!!

This place is the bomb!! I'm not sure what , was better, The absolutely delicious tuna sushimi appetizer, the steaks, or the extremely outstanding service. I highly recommend this restaurant. My steak did not come out exactly how I asked for it, medium rare, so they immediately brought it back to the kitchen and replated the whole meal and gave me a fresh steak with fresh vegetables and potatoes. They also gave me a free glass of wine and a free dessert to offer their apologies. This is a very great restaurant and you should try it

Very nice place. First time there. Lots of oak woodwork. Eclectic menu. No obnoxious music, like in many places. Good location. Friendly staff, fair prices. I'd recommend and I'd go again.

This place was awesome!!! Edwin was my server. He went above and beyond to make this experience excellent! I went with the ribeye and was definitely pleased with that choice. I'm in from out of town and definitely recommend this place!

We walked into the restaurant and was not acknowledged at all. She continued he conversation over the phone. Once she finished, she laughed and had an additional conversation with a customer who was heading out. She never made eye contact with us at all. She finally said to us, "just two"? No hello, no how are you, NOTHING. I was so disgusted, and saddened by the lack of respect and lack of customer service. After being seated we decided to leave. We will not be back. I am sad that the 201 Seafood place was closed so it's waffle house instead since it's next to our hotel. I hope the service gets better here.

I usually don't review since I travel so much, but this place stood out. I stopped here while passing through Savannah. Waiter recommended the special prime rib over the steak. Great choice! Also, the best Caesar Salad I've had. Service is exceptional! My waiter, Edwin, was top notch.

This is the third time I have eaten here while on business and I am impressed ev we you time. Amazing service with a quickness. Friendly and warm staff. Fantastic food and drinks. All around an amazing place, especially if you are staying at one of the surrounding hotels. Do not pass this place up. Best in town for anything you might be craving. Pricey yes. But worth it.
