Not one Marriotts better properties. This property could benefit from a remodel. The fixtures and furniture show the traffic from this downtown location.

While conveniently located for the price I’d rather stay elsewhere.

When I arrive the room wasn’t fully cleaned there was pillowcase in the sink which was a little odd.

However the staff were friendly and kind; they were very attentive and responsive.

Over an average stay at this property.

Update: make sure you check your shower head prior to taking one. Mine was clogged and had no water pressure.

We stayed here with the kids overnight and we had a great time. The pool was fun for the little ones. Nice TVs and wifi for the big kids to play video games on.

This Marriott property was pretty impressive. It was well updated and felt very modern inside. The rooms were spacious and clean. The M Concierge club was nice, but it was pretty compact and got very crowded in the morning time for breakfast. Customer service was great and we received prompt attention to a maintenance issue in our room. You also can't beat the location, with tons of restaurants and shopping just a short walk away.

Staying at the SL Marriott Downtown at City Creek during the holiday season has been a tradition in my husband's family for years. The holiday spirit is felt through the lobby decor. The service is very good, valet parking makes checking in and out a breeze and the location is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants and Historic Temple Square!

For any conferences, this hotel is conveniently close to the Salt Palace. The staff at front desk are extremely helpful with finding good local restaurants. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom sink had a drip that echoed in the drain, and the shower head was half calcified.

The front desk staff were super nice, patient, and really helpful. Same with the restaurant staff, I was really indecisive about what to do for dinner and the waitress was really great about it. The cleaning staff did a great job as well. It's right by the mall and the convention center, so it's a fabulous location.

Probably due for a little bit of updating, but the room was very comfortable, we had a decent view of the city, parking was easy, and it is very, very conveniently located. Rooms were clean. Highly recommend.

I stayed with a tour group. Don't recommend if not business travel. Stayed two times. Always found hair on clean towels and in the bath tub. Should do better cleaning up the room. The staff there is OK but just OK. The location is good though.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Room was very clean and nice. Within walking distance to the gateway and the jazz arena. We paid 10.00 extra for the breakfast when we booked online. Well worth it.

This is my second stay at the hotel. The hotel is situated in the city centre and has a parking lot under the hotel. Staff is friendly but at the breakfast they are also good in avoiding eye contact. Nothing serious and they will get you everything you want, you just have to get their attention. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice beds. There is a TV, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, a desk and a seat in the room. In the bathroom there is a shower in the bath, sink, toilet and complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There is a good air-conditioning in the room, but the curtains do have a small opening when closed so during daytime there will be a minimum of light seaping through. Overall a nice hotel to stay with everything you need.

Visited the Marriott for a work conference. The experience was great and usual business quality experience. The food was reasonable. Not as good as my wife's, but she is a high bar to be compared too. I'm glad the conference was there, and would certainly suggest it for a work conference.

Attended prom at Marriott City Creek. Good atmosphere, well lit, good service. Food was an overall 6/10, but the service provided for the food was quick. Dessert was good. Ballroom had a great sound system, but dance floor had limited space.

Nice spacious room. Great location. I've been to SLC before and didn't know the city creek shopping area was there until this trip. There's also a Starbucks in the hotel! The service has been good, too.

Attended for a professional event. The catering was amazing. The parking garage needs a few more lights it's a little dark. Overall great experience attending an event here.
