We had an excellent girls' spa getaway at Sage Hill. The spa was amazing. Dinner was fresh with good portions. They did a great job of making us feel safe with contactless dinner and breakfast delivery to the room. It was a very relaxing escape. Probably should have realized there was no elevator to our 3rd floor room, but that didn't detract from the overall weekend.

Me and my girlfriend have been to Sage Hill twice now in 2020 (once in August for 4 days in the Nance Suite and again this week for 3 days in the Kyle King). We both LOVE it here! They’ve done such an amazing job creating a relaxing, tranquil environment that’s super safe during these crazy covid times. The food is so great (highly recommend getting whatever soup they have to start and I personally enjoyed the steak cooked medium and garden vegetables)! The sparkling rose they have is also perfect with the dinner vibe. We loved having the dinners outside on the patio (tables were spaced 6 feet apart and servers were super friendly and wore masks - Oliver is great!). The spa is also amazing! I had one of the best massages of my life two days ago (will update this review with my therapist name in a bit). The pool and hot tub are amazing! Also, the property has plenty of well kept hiking trails that are perfect for everything from casual hiking to trail running (did both myself). We’ll definitely be back and want to thank the staff again for being so warm and hospitable!

My husband and I visited Sage Hill for his birthday, and had a truly amazing time. The grounds are exquisite and incredibly peaceful. The pool and hot tub overlook a breathtaking vista and our massages at the spa were some of the best we’ve ever had. We are both very active and have had a lot of bodywork over the years, so we don’t say that lightly.
All in all a perfect experience and we will most definitely be going back :)response / report this review -

My wife and I just finished our fifth annual stay at the beautiful and peaceful Sage Hill Inn. This year was a little different thanks to Covid-19, but everything was still perfect. The location and the accommodation is perfect. This year all meals were delivered to our room, and although this was an adjustment we quickly got into the groove and the food was delivered hot and tasty with a smile clearly seen in the eyes because all of the staff were wearing masks.
We go to recharge and almost as soon as we arrive we can feel the stress of the previous months slowly but surely slipping away. We are already looking forward to returning the same time next year.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at this inn to relax and get away from the everyday. We stayed in one of the cottages the first time, then the top floor of the main building. Both unique in their own way. Super delicious farm to table and free range, organic food. Relaxing pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful trails. In the room we stayed in the main building we had a full body tub and a relaxing shower. Perfect privacy and quiet time. Great service as well.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's beautiful and well kept, and the staff think of everyrhing. From bottles of water along the walking trails and bug spray in your room for you, to the chef fixing me the most delicious off-menu vegan food, this has been the most pleasant getaway experience. I can't wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed here for a baby moon. It was the perfect place for a little getaway! The staff are awesome, the food was delicious, the grounds are gorgeous, and our room (Thelma's Loft) was wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend getting a massage at the spa - the Swedish massage was one of the best I ever had. The inn serves both breakfast and a 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. We stayed in the Hartson room - very spacious and awesome bathroom. We will be back :)

My girlfriends and I had the pleasure of staying at the ranch house at the Sage Hill Inn for a weekend and I can't stop raving about it. The accommodations are the top notch of comfort, the scenery is breathtaking (especially at sunset), the gardens are beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond, and the amenities (hammocks, hot tub, fire pits, bath products, etc.) were stellar. A few of us had spa services that were excellent and very well priced. My family also hosted my baby shower on-site and the Sage Hill Inn staff were amazing in helping with planning, logistics, keeping plates and glasses full, and setting up for activities related to the shower. They even transferred all the gifts over to the ranch house for us after. I can't recommend Sage Hill Inn enough. It's simply the perfect place to relax, connect with nature and make new memories with friends, family or a significant other. Thanks for the excellent stay!

This place is the best place to get away and feel the times past. Very comfortable, no television, no noise, very peaceful. We loved the donkeys that came to greet us every morning and evening for a snack. If you are looking for a REAL getaway this is it! Mr. & Mrs. Allen are great host/hostess. We will be back!

We loved our stay. The room (Hays) was very nice, beautiful sunrise view from the porch, the staff was great and so friendly and the food was very good. Will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. The staff were so kind and awesome in helping make my Wife's Birthday weekend the best ever! :-) We had a wonderful time and we will be coming back again and recommend our friends to come here as well.

Great place tucked away in the Texas hill country to relax and rejuvenate. Met another couple for a weekend stay. Stayed in the Thelma Cottage. Accommodations were superb, the staff was helpful and friendly. Chef did an amazing job with the meals. Farm to table, fresh and flavorful. Spa treatments were a huge treat. Great getaway, never have to leave the property.
