Love the margaritas! Food is delicious but the main course vs the side food leaves more to be desired. I ordered the taco plate with beef and I got a large plate filled with beans and potatoes and 1 taco. So I pretty much got full off of beans and potatoes. But still delicious!
Thus place is great. The quality and quantity of food always beat out any other places I try. And their carne adovada is the best in town! Prices and portions are in alignment. I get the silver coin margarita, and while it feels a bit steep at $10.50, it is delicious and definitely not week!
Wow, I'm impressed with this place, the service, the food and the atmosphere! Loved it! Went with my family of 5 during lunch and it was not too busy even for a Friday! No waiting to be seated and our server very polite, got our drinks right away, 2 baskets of fresh still warm chips with 3 bowls of salsa. We had the lunch combo special and oh my gosh, the potatoes with red chile and cheese all over, I was in love! Enchiladas were excellent and my baby loved the beans! I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant with excellent prices! Can't wait to visit again, you got 2 thumbs up from me!
Sadie's is a long-time favorite; I have been coming here for over 30 years now. Wonderful, classic New Mexican food with fine chile, heat included. The adovado is a particular favorite dish, but I have yet to be disappointed. Best to come here with a mountainous appetite, as the portions are huge. Great friendly service as well. Enjoy!
What a wonderful experience! After a weekend conference, a group of about twenty of us gathered at Sadie's for brunch. They took our orders efficiently, there were no errors in the meals that came to the table, and every meal arrived at the same time! A truly talented mariachi troop serenaded us at our table. Our out of town guests got to experience first class New Mexican food and hospitality! Servicing a large table is challenging, Sadie's was up to the challenge and made it look easy!
Best Mexican food I've ever had! Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is perfect! They even had live music! Will be going back!!!
This is one of the worst dining experiences Ive had in Albuquerque. It took almost an hour to get our plates. Not to mention I have a 2 year old who was getting fussy and hungry. When our food arrived it was cold like it had been sitting for a while. The cheese that was melted was hard and crusty. As we begin to eat our food my grandma bit into a very big bone! This thing was not little it was pretty good size! A manager was notified and he said he would take care of our dinner. When we got the ticket he only took off my grandmother's meal. We did not finish any of the food as we were worried about the chicken. I will never go to the Sadie's location again! I probably won't go to Sadie's anywhere ever!
Really good food. The service was excellent considering my guest has glutton free and sulfites issues which the staff was more than generous to accommodate. I was in Arizona for awhile and needed my New Mexican food craving satisfied and Sadie's came through with flying colors! Absolutely delicious!
Loved the food! The sopapillas were scrumptious. The fresh salsa and chips were delicious and our order arrived quickly, accurately and was also delicious. Our server Brenda was awesome. She was attentive, friendly and informative. If you like spicy food with a down home atmosphere this is the spot!
The food is great. The salsa is delicious and super hot. I would rate the food about 4 stars. The service, and management, however are awful and that's why the ratings 2 stars. Waited 40 plus minutes for one taco plate my friend and I shared. Other tables, that were seated after us, got their food, ate and left before we got our food. Was told multiple times that 2 separate managers were to come and talk to us/apologize. Neither ever did. Instead they, and 15+ other employees all around the restaurant, in different areas/corners, gathered and stood around, talked, used their phones, ate food, payed no attention to their customers. One manager walked right past us about 8 or more times and never once came by, even though she had enough time to make small talk with her employees and eat food here and there.
Margaritas and drinks were great. Waitresses were very nice and the service and overall night was pleasant. However, the food was just very bland. It wasn't an isolated situation as we were a group of 7 and ordered a gamut of meals. Just tasted unseasoned and left you disappointed. But if you just wanna come in for drinks and appetizers, this place fits the bill.
Not from here, new to ABQ. Like El Pinto lots better. Nothing really wrong. I did ask for Chile on the sideguess telling them my story didn't matter. Clean, modern.
Service was terrible. Waited 10+ minutes to get water. Another 15 to get food. Salsa so hot that it would give you 3rd degree burns. Margaritas are nothing but mix. Still looking for a decent Mexican restaurant? Keep looking!
Long time regular Very consistently good service, food. Atmosphere is usually busy A testament for their rating. One of the better authentic spots in the duke city.
This place is incredible! Great service all the time and friendly staff. Sometimes there is a wait time during dinner rushbut well worth it! Unlimited chips and salsa made fresh daily is enough to go in and of itselfportions are great! You don't leave hungry or dissatisfied (:
