I really enjoy Spot on Elmwood. Great place to meet, have coffee, and do homework or visit with friends. This is my favorite of the Spot locations. Not too much noise, but enough that you can focus on your own work.

The coffee is great and as a coffee snob, I like the selections they offer - this is how I would select coffee for a coffee shop. I also love their cakes. Usually the cake part of the cake or cupcake is where I have to take off points - the cake is just as important as the frosting, but this place has the caked nailed, even better than some of the frostings I've tried here - this impresses me very much.

I'm less impressed with the help. Two days in a row, from two different people I was given the wrong cake; the blueberry cake has a blueberry on it. When I get my food to go I always have to ask for a plastic fork for my salad - most of the time they try to point me to the metal silverware and I have to point out I'm holding a to-go box and I don't want to steal their silverware.

Spot is a place I always seem to naturally stop by when I'm visiting my hometown. I come here for mostly nostalgic reasons & locality convenience. Their coffees are below average to me, but taste is often about preference. I like their food & the portions are more than generous. I still rate them highly because I have consistently received kind service from the person who takes my order to the person who hands me my drink.

Always been a fan of the Chippewa location. This one is just as great and includes parking. Perfect chill place. Great coffee. Mike's sandwich on gluten free Kaiser was amazing. Regular bread for grilled cheese and BLT was a little dry which was surprising. Other then that it was perfect.

Took nearly 30 minutes to make a simple breakfast wrap. I asked for it with spinach and tomatoes, it was bland and they forgot the tomatoes which I didn't mind until I saw they put in sausage. I've been vegetarian for five years and now I'm sick on my vacation because they can't tell the difference between tomatoes and sausage.

Good local company that's a great place to hang out. Gets loud and busy though so hard to do work at. Coffee is a bit on the expensive side and not as strong as I prefer.

My favorite coffee shop in the city. The coffee is very strong and the atmosphere is good for both socializing and studying. Their pizza is surprisingly high quality and fresh.

This was a nice surprise as it was larger than most Subway restaurants. It has the usual menu but you know what you are getting and want. They do not do rewards points in MN. as I could not use my card but I still enjoyed my tuna sandwich and tea.
