From the outside it looked like it was going to be a waste of time because of its size, but it turned out to be vey fun. The displays were fun and the seal show was very enjoyable. My son loved it.

From the picture I'm posting you can see that there is still construction going on (they are building a new penguin habitat). The Sea Lion show is still very good. It's a small aquarium (because some of it is still under construction), so it won’t take up your whole day to spend some time there. They also have a decent variety of animals and the exhibits are informative. The prices are great considering that they are an nonprofit organization that’s opened all year round. The trainers and staff are very knowledgeable about the animals and the whole setup fosters a good educational environment.

it's over priced for what there is. $13 for entrance fee. they have a lot of pegiuns and sea lions show. some pretty cool fish! But I just can't get myself to pay that much for what might last maybe 2 hours if I take my time and watch the shows. I wish they would be able to do an extension. it's a nice place and fun. good for kids. I wish they would offer a student discount.

This is a great place to see if staying at the falls and crossing the boarder. Great price too. Small and can go through it fast, but very educational and not a bad place for non profit organization. Opened year round, and cant wait to see the new penguin exhibit when it opens. Trainers and staff very knowledgable about the animals that are all rescued from the wild.

The aquarium is really small and only has a few attractions. I would say there are really only 2 which are the penguins and the sea lions. The trainers are really nice and helpful but since the building is under construction it's very obvious the aquarium is lacking. We also did the penguin encounter, which was EPIC but they charged $15 a picture (and you can't take any of your own pictures). There are only so many spots though and it does cost extra to do this but that's worth it. I would rate the encounter a 4.5 star for sure if you can do it!

Nice half day experience.
Unfortunately under construction right now, but should result in a great upgrade.
Touch tank experience is fun and worth it for your kids. The staff is always great.
Cost is the about the safe as a movie.

It's nice if you have the Discover Pass - it's very small. If you're making a long trip down like we were our kids enjoyed seeing it as part of the five events we did but it wouldn't have been worth it for a long trip all on it's own. The kids did enjoy the Aquarium more than the other events because of the Sea Lion show.

Liked it, but be prepared, as currently (as of 07/28/17) there is still construction that's been going on for months for the new penguin habitat. Good sea lion show. Touch tank is by reservation only and costs non-members an additional $5 per person. Go online or call to check times on shows to plan your best experience, but entire place is about an hour's worth of entertainment. Plan as part of your day, not your whole day.

They charge way too much for what they have to offer. This is a VERY small aquarium. Basically it is one circular room, 2 floors, but the entire middle is just a huge tank with 3 or 4 sea lions in it. I have been to the aquariums in Virginia and North Carolina, which are both huge compared to this, much nicer facilities with many more species on display. Not to mention, those aquariums are actually cheaper, because they don't charge an additional fee for parking. Makes this place seem like a total ripoff. The fish looked okay, but some of the animals don't seem to be well taken care of. Two of the seals seemed to be sick/injured and the penguin cage was EXTREMELY dirty. They don't have any otters, sea turtles, crabs, or jelly fish. There was a picture of an octopus on the window, but they don't have an octopus (no squid either) . Two tiny sharks, but no snakes, alligators, crocodiles, etc. I would never go here again. I was really disappointed. They had multiple "NO REFUNDS" signs on the way in I think a lot of people have asked for their money back. I would recommend going to the Buffalo Zoo instead, it's a much better value for your money!!!

I enjoyed watching the sea lions and seals. It's not a huge attraction but the variety of fish was nice and the trainers were upbeat and knowledgeable. We spent about an hour there.

Great little place. We have taken the kids twice. It is small and can be done easily in an hour. They have a touch tank for am extra fee. It's a unique place to visit, nice to do once.

Small but awesome. Shows were cool. Fish and animal were fun to find and watch. Shark feeding was small but neat to watch. Will go again next time I'm in the area

Absolutely amazing experience! My friend and i went here and lost track of time and ended up spending 4 hours at this place! it was amazing to see how the workers had such a bond with the animals. I've never experienced that anywhere else. All the mammals were rescued that couldn't survive in the wild and they each had their own stories. The sea lions were absolutely mind blowing, almost healing in a way. Definitely my favorite experience visiting Niagara Falls. The employees made it a very magical experience

Fairly small (and half of what was there was under construction / inaccessible) but still a fun, cozy aquarium. There are hourly shows and events including a very entertaining and upbeat sea lion show, plaques to teach about the animals, and optional extras like feeding penguins and seals. Good but not great, was expecting a bit more from a $13 ticket, but was still a good bit of fun.
