I love going here the food, the people who run the place is friendly. Good service. I recommend you try them you will find yourself going back often.
Great place to visit ,experiencing what a Soda Shop was like years ago. If you ever in Pittsboro.NC be sure to visit this place, will find this place center of town.
Contains the historical cabinets, fixtures, and more from several old time drug stores. Many antique soda shop and drug store items. A large selection of ice cream that is presented very well, be it on a cone, in a dish, as a Sundae or oversized Banana Split. A must stop in Pittsboro. Owned and operated by a local family. Take your family and friends.
I had clam chowder very good. Family run business, very friendly ,helpful staff. Great place to eat!
People here where Phenomenal great staff and great seating arrangements and fantastic oldies music.. is it worth the drive well you have to see for yourself
Largest banana split I have EVER seen. Wonderful ice cream treats. Lunch was so-so, but probably ordered the wrong items. Home of several items from the old Rathskeller restaurant of Chapel Hill - I need to try these!
Fabulous local experience. Locally owned and operated. Menu named after nearby towns and people. They serve ice cream they serve specialty entrees as well as burgers and chicken
This place is super cute. I love the atmosphere of the downtown area and this little soda shoppe sets the tone.
3 people got great sized desserts for $20. Ambiance is great.
My food was okay, if not overpriced. Four of us had fries, none of which were crisp or hot. They have no gluten-free menu, though you can safely navigate around items.
Literally our favorite restaurant. The quintessential family-owned business. Staff are always warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, and they make the best black and white chocolate malt anywhere. Enormous sundaes, piled as high as the dishes will allow. Exceptional burgers. Not an easy place if you're trying to eat healthy, but a powerhouse for comfort food.
NC Chapel Hill folksif you find yourself longing for the old Rathskeller lasagna, you can find it's closest cousin here. Welcome back to the "bowl of cheese"! If you never had it, you should at least once. ;) Probably many times.
As good as the food is, the best part is the people. Be sure you say hello to the family owners, whether it's TJ or Vickie in front of house, Gene near the register, our a wave at Steve in the back. Awesome people, hosts, and cooks. And a the top must-visit site off the historic Pittsboro courthouse circle.
So adorable, full of antiques, with friendly teenage waitresses and a family crowd. Enormous sundaes, ice cream delights, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. A very fun place.
Always very busy but the food is nice and the ice cream is great. The staff is also very nice.
A favorite for years. The family gets to know you. Food is good and ice cream is big. Ades and fountain sodas are a treat too.
It had a great and authentic atmosphere. Wonderful food and ice cream. Truly a hidden gem.
A step back in time to an authentic antique soda shop with vintage ephemera and furnishings. Service is friendly. Food and ice cream are OK. A fun place on birthdays with massive sundaes and songs to celebrate by. S&T's is highlight of a visit to Pittsboro, NC (Not opinion Sunday though!)
