I've been through many dealerships in my life and Rydel has to be one of the best. It may take awhile to get through the process, but that is simply because they are busy. I haven't had to have a vehicle in for repairs, so the caveat here is that I do not know the quality or duration of their repair facility. I have come in for regular tune-ups and oil changes. I've also had to have one flat tire repaired which, without an appointment, they accomplished in less than an hour. The staff is very friendly, always smiles, at least the ones I have met. I do recommend this dealership because it seems that they do care about putting good employees on the front line, customer-facing that is.
RUDE!
I bought a Corvette just recently from Rydell and after signing the dotted line their attitude took a 180.
Took it in to have them put license plate and the service staff is completely useless and RUDE!!
I had the 2010 Corvette and after many tickets for no front license plates I gave in and called around to get them installed. Everyone wanted $150-$250 just to put them up. A very nice woman from service at Rydell (this was back in 2013) told me to just come on down and they would do it free and on the spot, even though I had bought it somewhere else. Five minutes after, I was out the door.
I expect the same or better service with my new Corvette since i bought it from them, but they expected me to wait 2hrs just to do it. The entire time I was there they talked down to me. When I mentioned my previous visit and how fast they took care of me, they laughed in my face.
Since then, I've taken my Corvette to a Cadillac dealer for service and drive longer for "specialty" services.
Long post, but that's not even half of it. Stay away!
Best place to get a car. They care about you not how much you can buy. They get paid not for how much they sell the car but simply selling a car, so they try to find the best fit for you. Recommend Freddy, he is amazing!
The way this dealer ship operates is unlike any other dealership I've been to. They have the best deals up front. You don't have to sit there playing mind games with crooked car salesman. They are upfront and honestly want to give you the best deal. I purchased two vehicles from them. Ask for William Valenzuela or Francisco Barrios. Either person can help get you set up! My purchase was made at the San Fernando location but this locations operates the same way.
Rydell seems to be moving away from the nagging, buyer-prowling dealership tactics. Selection is vast. Insist on advertised pricing to be honored. However, be informed that the vehicle price is just one of many factors in financing Loan term (length of funding in months), APR (annual percentage rate, compounded monthly), down payment, and trade-in value can all affect the full true cost of the purchase. Casey helped us and was very nice. Happy ownership and safe driving!
Brought my daughter's car in for oil change and basic service. I was in and out in a little over an hour. Brought it in first thing in the morning on a Saturday without an appointment. Excellent service and price was competitive.
Every one in Rydell Chevy was awesome! They helped me purchase my first brand new car and they were absolutely the best. I can honestly say I am happy and satisfied with my purchase. They were very patient with me, helped me with low payments, and gave me a great deal that I couldn't decline.
Great dealership, upfront pricing, no haggling. No pressure in the finance office to up sell all kinds of nonsense. Great staff from top to bottom! Will recommend to friends and family, and will be going back when it comes time.
Excellent service as usual. Joe was super quick getting all my paperwork taken care of and was able to procure me an on site loaner right away. Took the car without an appt and without fuss.
I queried 11 dealers in a 30-mile radius of my home asking for a quote on a 2017 Volt, using the contact form on their websites. I ended up choosing Rydell as they were prompt, courteous, provided a quote through email and didn't pressure me to provide a phone number or to come in personally.
When we did get to the telephone stage, my salesman, Chris Olwell, provided an out-the-door price entirely consistent with the internet quote. In person, he took my wife and me for test drives, he was knowledgeable about the Volt (some dealerships aren't), handled the paperwork, conducted a run-through on the car's features, paired my phone with the Bluetooth, called OnStar for the welcome message and instructions, etc. The "finance guy" wasn't high-pressure and didn't try to sell us a bunch of extras. They even let me charge my LEAF while I was there--they had 18 L2 charging stations available.
It was a pleasure doing business with Rydell, especially since they were obviously committed to selling electric cars.
The sales guy, Bob, was very helpful. Unfortunately, he said they have priced their prices low enough that they could not budge on it. So they lost a deal over 1K. The truck will continue to sit and depreciate.
Weird to rate a dealership when all I did was charge my Nissan, but I quickly asked someone who was clearly on his way out the door to go home where the chargers was, and he went out of his way to make sure my car was plugged in and everything. I believe he was a mechanic. Really nice people here. Wouldn't mind coming back to purchase a car in the future here! Much more friendly than Nissan. The second you stop in any Nissan dealership, they swamp you trying to see if you're looking to get a new car.
I went to Rydell because their pricing was straight forward and their sales team was not pushy. In fact, they were very up front, provided all the answers to my questions and provided lots of choices, including getting the color I wanted at the price I was satisfied with, even if that meant trading with another dealer. Their inventory was extensive so I had lots of choices. Joe Pinto was my sales rep. With 18 years of experience, he was a straight shooter that I was able to trust and would recommend to anyone interested in buying a Chevy.
Great people, great offers. They work with you and give you their best deal. Great customer service. They don't pressure you into anything and respect your decisions. I came to rydell Chevrolet from the inland empire simply because By far they have the best deals. I'm definitely happy with my purchase.
