  Went in for Poison Ivy killer. Price way higher than other big box store. Did meet old friends so it was good

  I love Rural King. It's like five stores in one. Great prices, great value, with friendly people that are very knowledgeable at that they do, with awesome customer service on the spot. And if you own a dog, they are dog friendly, you get free popcorn and coffee, and your doggie gets a dog treat!

  Friendly cashier but bad on shift manager (evening). Would not match their own online price for same item in store. Same SKU. I said I would order online and then just choose in store pickup. Manager argued that would occur a 2 day wait to pick up the item. Drove nearly 20 miles. Manager was quite rude.

  Overall, a pleasant experience! Had a great deal on 6-pack bottles of pop/soda (the same price that Meijer and Walmart *occasionally* has). If they had refrigerated things like milk and frozen veggies, I would probably shop there for all my groceries (I don't know why, but shopping here is more relaxing than at Meijer)! A major "hat tip" goes to the kind gentleman who helped me find the Rain-X windshield liquid solution today - thanks!

  What a LAZY bunch of local yokels!! Would not help my 84 year old father get a new battery; then called the cops of my son when he tried to help. NEVER going to that farm store again.
