This is one of the most overpriced and fake Indian restaurant I had the misfortune of visiting. If this place is not inside a casino like Rio they will go out of business in no time. I don’t mind paying premium price as long as the food is good. All I got was soggy and undercooked food. The staff looked like they don’t wanna be there either.Long story short I would give this place a negative five if I can.

Food is ok ! But the items are bit expensive! Probably because it’s located inside s casino! If your looking for INDIAN food in Vegas you can try other places!! Not the best food for the price you pay ! Service is ok!

Best quality Indian food in Vegas. Food was authentic. Service was fantastic. Very professional. The Chef made off the menu recommendations for our vegetarian diets.

Worst Service in Las Vegas Period. Please Save your money DO NOT go here you will thank me later. First of all we went to both dinner and the lunch buffet, so I wanted to make an extensive review on both experiences, but the second time was so bad I am not going to talk about the food(wasn't that good anyways). Instead talk about how rude the waiter was to us.
So we came in for the lunch buffet saw no one there. The server (indian guy) at the front looked at us in a way like he wanted to rush us out the door as soon as he can. Without saying a word he puts three plates and three glasses and walks away. No one was here so we decided we can start at the buffet. We get our food and walk back to the table sit down thinking the waiter would come back to ask us what kind of naan we want or if we want any drinks.
None of that happened and other people started coming in and we could start telling the difference in the way we were being treated and how he was treating the other guests with kindness and not the rude tone and gestures he was making towards us. We were already upset, but then he comes back out and literally just throws a basket of plain naan at our table, without asking us which kind we want like he was asking the other guests, and just takes off to the back without saying a word. At that point we just wanted to walk out cause of the discrimination being showed towards us. The couple that I was with started showing their displeasure to another waiter because our waiter was now hiding in the back like he knew what he was doing the whole time to make us leave.
We got up and we asked for the bill the new waiter comes out and says we will give you a discount. But then they charged us more than advertised and took off a few dollars as a "discount" ended up being the same price which we paid and when we paid they didnt give us our full change back until we showed them that they screwed our bill up completely. Not going back here again and we stay at rio every year for conference.response / report this review -

One doesn't expect Indian food in a Vegas casino, but this place is pretty good. It's expensive when compared to anywhere off the Vegas Strip, but the food is mighty tasty.

Special thanks to Rohit Joshi for recommending the fabulous Royal India Bistro inside the Rio casino for an extraordinary birthday dinner for my family with Mahi Mahi marinated fish kabob in masala spice, Tandoori King Prawns, Chana Masala, Lamb Sheekh Kabob with minced lamb, spices, and herbs, all served with a flowery white rice basmati style served with herbs, spices, and saffron. The excellent staff treated us like kings and queens to fresh baked Nan bread covered with butter, roasted garlic, and chives. There were parties in every corner of the restaurant including a marriage with our friend Colten Pipkin, who was in the banquet room at the Royal India restaurant for a wedding that was taking place. Our entire family is returning next week for the buffet that some say is the best in Las Vegas. Every day the Royal has a buffet of flavors until 4 pm. We enjoyed the Chef's Signature Dishes including Rogan Josh classic lamb curry with added tomato masala and Butter Chicken, which is shredded red chicken in a butter tomato masala which I can still taste as I write these words, the flavor was so original and unique. I heard volumes about this restaurant's taste in board room meetings when guests were entertained as they traveled to Las Vegas for meetings, but I didn't know why until now why all the CEOs take their out of town business guests to the Royal India. After our meal, we took Jonathan Borchetta's recommendation and rose up to the top floor of the VooDoo Lounge in the Rio for a ride on the VooDoo Zip Line, 500 feet above the Las Vegas skyline. The views are incredible. Great dinner followed by an excellent adventure all inside one casino, Rio.

Some of the worst service on the strip. The overweight guy with the mustache is a dirt bag. It looks like he's been wearing the same clothes for a month. He's also unfriendly. The tall bus boy was no better when it comes to his attitude, but at least he was clean.
Unfortunately, the food is great and I won't go back or bring any of my guests back do to the service. Coming from a guy that eats all over Vegas and lives here.
I ate here twice before writing the review because I believe in 2nd chances. Well, their service failed again.

I've been to this restaurant today, I couldn't not control myself to say a BIG NO NO especially for South Indians. There's nothing authentic here. Zero salt/Extreme salt, zero Spice/misusing of spices, zero Chilli, ZERO Taste. Overall, it's not meant for Indians. It would be a waste of money and time.

We got there 30minutes before closing and asked if they where still seating tables. He said that we could order take out. I was cool with that. When he brought my food out I paid and before we left I looked in the bag. There was no rice. I went into the dinning room and asked about the rice and was told it was separate/extra. Indian food served without rice??!!!!!! His comment to me when I said that I had never been to an Indian restaurant where no rice was accompanied by the meal was that we were in a Vegas hotel. I definitely won't be back. Also I've had much better Sag in both Kentucky and New York.

Excellent, personble service and authentic, delicious food at a reasonable price. Don't miss this beautiful place! Their rice was amazing as was their Tadoore Chicken. Very fresh, crispy saladsf, and lovely warm nan bread. We were so full we had to pass on their famous desserts. Couldn't have been more pleased. Well done!

Service was great but I couldn't believe the rice didn't come with the meal. It's chana masala! That's like ordering a sandwich and having to pay extra for the bread. Not only was it an extra $9, but it didn't have the wonderful aroma of quality basmati rice. Everything else was edible but it tasted like it was missing something (spice maybe?).
I suppose that's what to expect in a casino restaurant. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.response / report this review -

Had the chance to eat here several times back in August. The food, both at the lunch buffet and off the dinner menu, was excellent and reasonably price for Las Vegas. The owner is beyond friendly and kind. Had the extreme good fortune to be joined for dinner by an actress from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Seinfeld! A wonderful experience all around!
