I saw this place on diners drive-ins and dives. I knew when I made it back to Vegas that I had to try it. It did not disappoint. Portions were great and the owner Chuck was extremely friendly. I loved the backyard feel. I definitely recommend this place!
It was good. Very busy place, staff is very competent and friendly. I didn’t see where the BBQ sauces where or did I need to ask for them when ordering? Will be back and will make sure I get saucy.
People were very nice. Food was great. It was hard to enjoy our lunch sitting on the outside tables with so many bee's. I'm not talking about 2 or 3 bee's they were all over the place and we left with our food to finish it at home.
Always wanted to try this place seen it on Diners drive inns and dives. Finally went got a voucher for $25 for $10.
It's kinda hard to find if you don't have GPS. It's in a residential area.
Food was just OK. The wife had the rib dinner. 5 ribs 2 sides, the yams are just canned and spiced up, the potato salad tasted Costco. The ribs were tasty but not fall of the bone.
I had the 3 combo plate with brisket, 1/4 chicken and burnt ends. The brisket was jucey but not real tender, the burnt ends appear to be chuck and were tough the chicken was jucey but not real tasty.
I had chili it was real runny and salty, same with the mac and cheese. Had lots of cheese but really salty.
It's a small walk through shop with tents and picnic tables to sit at out side.
Would imagine it would be dusty and cold if the wind was blowing. And very hot in the summer.
Maybe it was an off day but probably would not go back again. The 2 meals came to $33.80. Glad I had a voucher.
The Brisket is terrible. Thin sliced, then put in a watery tray that turns it into tough rubber. Cut it thick and keep it dry, it will be a lot better. BUTthe rest of the menu is excellent. Great links, pulled chicken, burnt ends. Sides are to die for. I'll definitly go back but skip the Brisket.
My girlfriend and I had the 3 meat combo with mac and cheese and collard greens. She doesn't care for pork but the beef brisket and the barbecue chicken she says was very tasty. I enjoyed the ribs and love the beef brisket. The greens and Mac & Cheese we're also very good. If you like barbecue and you're in Vegas you got to come here. It's out of the way but most worth the trip.
The best BBQ I have ever eaten!!! Omg.. everything is so delicious! I got the burnt ends with collard greens, yams and corn bread! There is not one thing that doesn't taste good. Go here for BBQ! They also have awesome service. Very friendly. Nothing bad to say about this place. If you haven't been here one side is to eat, and the other side is like buying meats at a meat market!!! This is the place where to go.
And another one !! Absolutely amazing lunch with my new favorite burnt ends !! Larry and the crew are the best and I have yet to have anything less than off the charts bbq!! And this just in.. the new beef ribs are humongous and tender and juicy and they serve them with a different sauce that's just a little tangy and more of a Carolina style with scallions I'm seriously about to jump in the car right now and get some after I'm done writing this.. don't believe me watch me post another picture!!
Stop buying your meat at the supermarket. You HAVE to come here. New York steak, t bone, ribs, wings anything you have ever dreams of is here, the quality is just the best you can find and the team is so nice. It's a family business so you will be taking care of. Especially like me if you work out and need a lot of chicken breast you will taste the best chicken breast you even tasted. My Saturday's mornings belong here now !
Amazing food! I've been in a few places in Vegas for bbq and this place is my favorite!! From the meat to the sides everything was delicious! I'm coming back!!
It's awesome. You can buy their awesome barbeque, or stock up on some great meat to take home and cook yourself. Lacking a bit on drinks as you can only get cans of soda or bottles of water but it'll get the job done. All seating is outside. There is alwaysa line, but it's worth it.
There always being a line out the door, at any given time, has to tell you something with their cooked and uncooked meats. Plus the people that work there are pretty awesome and cheerful. Definitely a place to go to when I get a chance.
Great bbq plates. Fantastic home cooked sides. Take out or eat under the covered awnings at picnic tables. Game and meat processing small or bulk. Family run for years. Friendly helpful employees.
When I say they have everything, I mean it. For a couple pretty pennies, you can get anything from boar to elk to crocodile. Yeah, everything. They even have smoked meats and more "conventional" ingredients. And how can you forget the service? They found some really nice people to run that shop
