Good hotel with comfortable beds and overall clean facility and rooms. Only complaint we had is the toilet was stuck running and we didn’t have enough towels are toilet paper. After letting front desk know we got some more so all good except for toilet. I assume they will fix after we checkout. We also found some of the local wildlife climbing the wall just outside the courtyard door.

Very clean. Recently updated, all the modern conveniences. Right on the sound. Nice dock for fishing or sitting by the water. Bring chairs. Nice pool. Very friendly staff. Great continental breakfast. A couple of good restaurants in walking distance.

Remodeled, the rooms are very nice. The waterfront location is exceptional.
This hotel is not currently well known, and still being updated, but when the word gets out, you'll need advance reservations to get a room.

I stay here every time I go to Ft Walton. The private beach isn't so much of beach as it is just a sanded area with a picnic table. Nonetheless, it's my favorite place. The bay is absolutely beautiful during sunsets and sunrises. Staff is always helpful and polite

Do not stay here. we planned our vacation in advance and if we would have known we wouldn't have stayed here. renovations are in process, the pool doesn't work.. the staff is very unprofessional, bad attitudes, vending machines and ice machines are out of ordercut our vacation short due to no vacancies in other hotels due to a festival in town very dissatisfied.. will never stay here again

Worst hotel stay ever. Rooms were not cleaned when we checked in. the cleaning crew had "quit and walked out" that morning. Pool is closed with no water, only leaves. No beach, one to two feet of sand. Outside doors do not lock. Breakfast was a joke. Powdered eggs and biscuits. No jelly, no bacon, no sausage. Only things working were coffee and waffles. No fruit, no yogurt. No towel replacement until after 9:30pm the next day Checked out and left.

The employees are very helpful, and the renovated rooms are SO nice. Even if they are small, they are pretty cheap compare to most hotels! If you are lucky, you can get a nice bay view. I love the furniture choice, when I first walked in it gave me a very modern vibe. The pool is nice and clean, while the dock in the back has a very nice view with excellent places for people who love to fish can catch sea animals.

Would not choose to stay again. I would give it a 2 1/2 stars if they had that. The evening check in staff "Kassie" was super sweet. She's the only reason I didn't opt out of staying. The set up inside the hotel is strange. Almost a classroom setting. I can see they are trying to make improvements to the rooms. Interior hallway needs major painting! Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay just did not feel comfortable while I was there and could not wait to leave. Didn't help that we arrived late. This was a overnight stay until we could get to our destination. For the price not worth it. Down the street it was $30 cheaper and I'm sure the same stars. There are a lot of 2 to 3 star hotels around cheaper. They were out of coffee when I went downstairs and breakfast didn't look good. If this hotel is your price range then you will be ok. You can tell they have put a few dollars in the place to upgrade the rooms. Bed comfort wasn't to bad. The furniture looks bought from 5 star hotel that upgraded and they sold that furniture to Roya. Again, just didn't feel comfortable in the room. But then again maybe I shouldn't judge too much it was a place to rest my head, my car wasn't stolen, no loud noise or music and shower worked.

Very dirty smelling trash and angry manager! Nightmare on Miracle Strip!! Beware!
Manager offered deal to move out took the deal and won’t give deposit back after we left upgraded bath and more!
Police department has many calls here in last few years and Health department!
Homeless people bath in the pool and sleep on the property and relieve themselves anywhere!
We moved into a filthy unit complete with toilet needing flushing and no cable box which were
the only three things we required and was of course in violation right there!
The patio was not usable the whole time we lived here because of the trash stench and flies! We tried to work with this and it was simply untenable.
Ali the manager offered the deal to leave and get rid of us because it was the intention of the owners to maximize profits with furnished vacation rentals. I was more than willing to take my deposit and move.
After we were gone they say not going to pay because of how the unit was left! What a joke as I spent more than $800 to live there as the toilet was cracked the sink and cabinet in pieces! We were tricked into going and all along were not going to honor the agreement we made. I was willing to accept the loss of the upgrades and just get my deposit of $1750 back!
Unbelievable!
Health department violations and Police department records are incredible! It was living in a ghetto with the drug dealers and domestic violence and down right scary people living there. We were told that management was trying to turn it around! I trusted and than got cheated and lied to and stolen from!
Management assured me the wealthy owners could afford the return of the deposit but since I had “disrespected” him and was prepared to have their powerful attorney take care of it!
I want what is right and these people know nothing of honor or respect!

The walls are thin, the closet was missing the bar to hold hangers, the desk is textured in such a way that I have to put something under the paper in order to write something with a pen, cheap material all around. Pros- cheap price, clean, good location.

(Do Not Stay Here: If you want any type of respect as a human being and acknowledged as a paying customer)! 4 stars for the room. Would have given 5 stars if dresser wasn't broken that blocked the entrance and amongst other minor things. I am giving 0 stars for customer service. First of all the lady at the front desk gave me the wrong key for the room so we opened another persons room while they were in there. Who knows what could of happened. Luckily they understood. BUT by far the WORST experience was when the CLEANING LADY confronted my husband for taking a plastic bag from her cart. We waited around for her at her cart and after not seeing her anywhere for awhile he took the bag for our wet clothes. When we were loading up she saw we had the bag and before we could tell her we took a bag she was rude, mean and confrontative over a clear cheap plastic bag. Where incidentally we get them all the time for free at other hotels and they are more than happy and friendly on top of that to give it to us. My husband complains in the front office over the behavior and the front desk lady also was rude instead of acknowledging our complaint. She said "well did you ask"? They act like we took the whole damn roll. We should of just left them a 1$ for the bag if they were hurting for money that bad. Never again WORST experience EVER. We have traveled all over the country and the disregard for customer service and just being plain courteous to the people who pay their hard earned money here over a plastic bag is beyond my comprehension. 1st and last time.

The hotel itself is nice inside. If u want breakfast u better get there a few min before they start serving. The only issue here is the front desk personnel get very angry at u when they double book a room. Also they tell u that they are located by a bay which is true. And tell u that u can swim there which is false. They say that their bay and the ocean beach aren't different which also is a lie.

Stayed here about 3 weeks ago. I needed a place to stay while my AC was being worked on. I got a water view room, it was beautiful, large, clean renovated room. Bright room or closing the blinds to make cozier. Blinds were quiet nice and easy to operate, no hang ups like most, I might add. Plenty of lights and tables to sit lap tops on, cell phones, etc. The employees were all nice and friendly and accommodating. I have stayed in many hotels, condo's from Florida, Arizona, California, to Hawaii, to Mexico and more. You can't beat the price. Everyone has their own experience's. Mine was a really great one.

I wish I had taken pictures. The pictures online are very deceiving. There is no door out to the water. There is a parking lot between the beach which is about 10 feet of beach and then the water. There really isn't much beach but they do have some nice chairs to sit on and it's a beautiful view with a private dock for hotel guests. Great for fishing. Not really somewhere you want to swim.

The rooms were extremely nice and spacious. One of the entrance doors did not lock which means anyone could walk in the building at anytime, so I did not let my kids leave the room without an adult. The pool sign states that it closes at 10 but apparently it closes at dark. One of the employees Samantha came to the pool and stated hatefully that everyone needed to get out or she is calling the cops. Also they do not give you extra towels so if you do swim in the pool, you must have your own.
