Excellent service and the food is well done. A must when in the coast! See our vacation rentals close by luxevaca.

Had a wonderful evening; drinks and appetizers with friends at Roy’s, enjoying the amazing views, drinking bubbly, sake, and wine and laughing A LOT, despite a couple snotty looks from one particular blonde patron (yes, dear; we’re not rich but we live and work here so sometimes heartily enjoy the benefits-you should try smiling more and judging less!).
Had the outrigger canoe sampler, which was great—wontons with ahi poke, ribs, satay and spring rolls. We also had several sushi rolls including the sunrise at Haleakala (fried and delicious) and yellowtail firecracker. Since my friend works for the hotel and knows everyone, Pablo also thoughtfully sent us over another ample plate of ribs (epically delicious, though messy—thankfully they have warm hand towels for your fingers!) and a plate of blackened seared ahi (absolutely phenomenal with spicy mustard butter—oh my goodness!).
Everyone (except that one female customer, sadly) was just lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable and it was a delightfully fun, celebratory pre-Christmas evening.response / report this review -

Stopped there for a quick coffee before hitting the 17-mile drive and stayed for lunch. It appeared to be a cool restaurant with super nice staff. And the food, and the views. Also redeemed there our 'entry ticket' which was also good

Gave away our table after we waited for an hour for it. The hostess was very unapologetic and told us we would have to go on a waitlist "for at least 45 minutes". Very poor customer service. We will never be returning to this restaurant. Expected a much higher quality customer service for a restaurant at the Inn at Spanish Bay considering their reputation. Very disappointed in their level of service. Will be letting all our friends and family know to never come here again.

This is a nice option for those staying at Asilomar or the nearby motels. It has terrific service, well-executed modern cuisine, and isn't insanely expensive, despite the location. Beautiful view of the golf course and coast. AND they refund the entrance cost on the 17 mile drive to get there! So you get a nice meal and a free trip on the beautiful 17-mile drive.

Consistency is the key here. Great food, great views, great service. Always. This location is one of the few owned directly by Roy himself, so expect the best. Great selection of fresh seafood, with many Roy's staples, paired with a solid wine list. Catch the sunset seating if you can to watch the sunset over the Spanish Bay golf links and Pacific Ocean

This is a casual but upscale dining establishment in Spanish bay in pebble beach. It is best to get reservations, the views are fantastic but cannot guarantee a window table. Excellent for large groups during the day.

Spectacular ocean views. Outdoor fire pit keeps one cozy while having drinks. Having the opportunity of listening to bagpipes being played during sunset is an incredible feeling. Nothing compares!

I have been going to Roy's for many years and have never been disappointed. Their Customer service starting at the valet service to all the servers is absolutely amazing! The food creation and atmosphere is also great. Definitely recommend especially during Christmas time.
