  By far one of my favorite stops in the Monterey/Marina area, OK so the food is ok, not "fabulous my dear".. but what the F did you expect, its a beer place, what really make the English Ale the spot, is the experience, the staff, the guests, the food and the BEER already. this place is living proof that the sum is more than the parts. if you fancy a pint and some grub to go with it from a friendly but not hipsters type server.. this is a no-brainer, why are you still reading? just go already.

  Usually good place to go for a cold one. Had dinner with a local friend few nights ago. Place was pretty busy and only one waitress. Food came an hour late, portions were low and quality not that good and cold. Not waitresses fault, but manager did nothing after talking to my buddy. Too bad

  I went many times when i was living in Marina and i got so f****n drunk, the service is really great and the beer awesome (i hope to get there soon) Regards from Mexico!

  Got the fish bangers and chips. It was great. All the beer I sampled were great as well. Definitely will stop in the next time I pass through.
