Cozy atmosphere. They have colorful decorations for the Christmas. Food is tasty, but the egg is a little bit too raw for mine. They are too busy during the holiday season, so expecting longer service wait time.
Tasty traditional American fare with pretty big servings. I had a bowl of minestrone and the lasagna that was featured on Triple D for dinner and it was really good. Three of us shared a gigantic slice of carrot cake for dessert too. All of it was pretty tasty.
The best breakfasts. I loved it. All of us had a different one and we loved them. Also they have the best cookies. They are huge
Nice atmosphere and great food. A little heavy on the salt today. My husband's meat omelet was huge and he loved it. Too full for desserts but they looked delicious. There cakes are like a mile high!
Visiting the area, a local person recommended Rosine's. It was packed, couples, groups in fact most of the bars & eateries in that district were busy. We found free street parking 2 blocks away. The staff seemed overwhelmed & exhausted. Our plates were a B+ not quite an A. We passed on the huge extravagant desserts, they sure looked awesome though.
Not sure why a 4 star rating. I thought the food was mediocre. Bread was dry, blue cheese dressing was Ranch with blue cheese chunks. The food wasn't very hot. The onion rings were mushy in the inside. A real disappointment overall. Service was great! Will do more reviewing before going on 4.4 starts
I liked the location of the restaurant. The inside was too crowded. I didn't like the seating; the table's are too close I was uncomfortable. I order clam chowder soup; it was very good way better then the Fisherman's Wharf. I also order onion rings they were good and the portion size was good.
This restaurant was suggested to my husband and I. The food was wonderful, portions large, and atmosphere was friendly. There is no dessert menu. You go to the front counter and make your selection. My only disappointment was my selection, the Key Lime Pie. I receive more whip cream than the Key Lime filling. Sad! My husband on the other hand chose the Fudge Chocolate Cake. He loved it. We had to park a couple of blocks down, but the walk to/from the restaurant was nice.
With comfy seats, very well priced food, perfectly cooked food and the great service, this makes for the perfect place to eat! Absolutely loved it! I ordered an omelet which was more then enough! It also came with toast and potatoes. The coffee was not too strong and not to weak. Perfect blends! The tables and restrooms were very clean. Everyone was very nice. We arrived around 11am and were seated on the spot.
Great food! My fiancee order a taco salad (they called it Fiesta Salad); it was the best looking one I had ever seen. She enjoyed it! I had a Ruben; it was very good as well.
Delicious food. Moderately priced. Friendly service. Great restaurant. Cakes are divine.
Amazing food and good service. The desserts are outrageously huge! Love this little spot. It's always on my to do list while in Monterey. Be sure to go on the weekend for the amazing brunch menu
I was a little pissed off at first because the lady up front told us that it would be a 15-20 minute wait, it ended up being a 40 minute wait. But all was forgiven once we got inside. The service was excellent, I mean the staff would refill your drink immediately before you can even ask. The most important part, the food, was absolutely delicious. I got a chicken sandwich and it came with a delicious sauce and side of fries. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Monterrey.
Efficient service, delicious food, and the bakery items are to die for. When the restaurant is full (which is often), the noise level is like a 10 out of 10 loud. But the food and service is so excellent, you stop talking and enjoy your meal. Purchased a take-out piece of chocolate truffle cake yesterday for my wife's birthday instead of buying an industrial cake at Safeway. Best choice ever, best cake ever, moist and creamy.
