I'm Fred, a Patent Examiner, at the USPTO. I have recently moved into one of the one-bedroom Rose Hill apartments. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the rooms--bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. They are clean, functional, modern and comfortable. I'm also very pleased with the staff at Rose Hill who are courteous and sincere. Moreover, the apartment is conveniently located close to the Huntington Metro. Rose Hill also provides a shuttle to and from the Huntington Metro. The campus is safe, clean, and anyone with a car will be very thankful for the ample parking without any crowding. If you work in DC or nearby and need an apartment, you should consider Rose Hill.

I love being here. The complex is well maintained, my apartment is clean and updated. The staff has been great and fairly accommodating. (I had to pay for an additional key fob that I was not happy about). Most importantly, I feel safe at night when we're walking through the community. The events are also a nice touch. I participated in a focus group session where they allowed my input on projects. My only wishes for improvement would be to offer covered parking and expand the guest parking area.

I have lived here for about 4 months (since August 2017) , and this is an amazing place to live. The staff are very friendly and inviting. They offer workout classes like “boot camp” and Zumba. They do events all the time, and even offer a bus to take you to the metro for work. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. The maintenance is always fast and done perfectly. Out of all the places I have rented, this is the best hands down.

The worst management ever! They just need your money for any reason after that they will tell you you can't rent it unless you get someone who can help you even you have full guarantee! So be careful to don't your money and time !

They are cheaters, don't waste your money and time , they charge us $400 without nothing we don't even rent their apartment. First they told you $300 is refundable but after you paid they will tell you, your not qualify to the apartment so you don't have nothing refund, so make sure if you go there you will lose your money, they're SD cheaters!!!!!

My wife and I are set to move in later this month. The staff at the office and Mr. Smith were very nice and professional. I saw another similar property and we immediately decided to rent here. I'm hoping that our apartment will be as nice as the ones I toured. We look forward to living here. Thank you - to such a great staff for making this as easy as possible.

My girlfriend and I have been here for six months now and we love it. The staff that work in the front office are so inviting and accommodating. It's nice to have them all know me by name every time I walk in given how many people live here. It is so nice to live in a place with ample parking, friendly staff, spacious and well kept landscaping, and a very large pool right outside our front door. The added security of datawatch entry and cameras on the parking lot is a stress reliever when my girlfriend is home alone. Nice to see that maintenance requests are handled in house because I see the maintenance staff out and about everyday. I also love that there is a car wash because I don't have to shell out $40+ every week to have my car washed and dried. We really don't have any complaints about living here and I would recommend it to anyone. We are so happy we stumbled on this place when looking and didn't have to move into an apartment tower. So nice having such a large backyard and for a great price.

We are so happy to have moved into this neighborhood! The leasing team, including Mr. John Smith, were outstanding and did everything they could to make the leasing process as easy as possible. And it didn't stop there! Now that we have been here for about a month now we see how much the team at Rose Hill cares about keeping their tenants happy. They know their tenants by name and always have a warm greeting when you see them around the property. They also have fun activities planned in their club house including group work outs in their gym, paint night, bingo night and many others.
Our apartment is beautiful and exactly what we wanted as well. It is so peaceful and quiet! We are 10 minutes from work now and it makes life so much easier. There are also shops like Safeway, Dollar Tree, etc. within walking distance.
Our favorite part is how dog friendly these apartments are! What is life without our fur babies? The grounds are always kept clean which is important to me too. We like walking our dog around the neighborhood and appreciate a clean beautifully maintained area like Rose Hill Apartments.response / report this review -

Love this place! I looked at quite a few other options in the Alexandria area, and chose Rose Hill due to several factors: The location was excellent (right next to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet spot), the landscaping was immaculate (which to me, indicates that the management does a great job at maintaining the property), and the inside of the units looked fresh and new (plus, they had washers and dryers, which was an essential feature for me). I also loved the amenities, such as the pool, car wash station, and outdoor fireside lounge area, which I look forward to using in the fall.
The staff has also been super friendly, and maintenance blew my mind with how fast they were in their response time. When I moved into my unit, the oven didn't appear to be plugged in and the dryer squeaked really loudly. I called the office, and in less than an hour, they came out and resolved the problems.
For such a relatively low rental price, I am VERY impressed by this place! I've been an apartment dweller basically my whole life, and this is the fourth place I've rented since moving to the DMV area. So far, it is hands down the best of the bunch!response / report this review -

I will agree with screaming children and people living more than what the occupancy laws allow.
Maintenance does a wonderful job clearing snow and fixing things. Sometimes it takes them a second trip.
Office staff keeps changing. Good staff transfer out to other apartments under the same management.
I am happy with most things here. I shared what I don't like with the apartment managers. Most has been fixed.
Dog park has been fixed up. Nonresidents use it and management does not help with those issues.response / report this review
