Great apartments to live in tish and her management group are great and very convenient to stores and freeway
Sycamore Lane is a great place to live. We have friendly faces in the office who genuinely care for us. Maintenance always fixes quickly. Landscaping is well kept and grounds are always welcoming when I come home. A genuine sense of community which I attribute to the staff. It's a nice quiet place to live and neighbors really are so respectful and friendly.
I have lived here for almost 4 years and it is the best place to live it is quiet and amazing. The stff is wonderful and respectful and wonderful Tisha the manager is wonderful and helps everyone who walks thru her office door she has a another office gal in office Jessica that is just as good

This is probably one of the worst apartments out there. I used to live here when I was a kid with my Mom and I loved it. I loved the location and the fact that it had a huge park at the back of the complex. But when I moved back as an adult I found myself quite disappointed. There was only one wall AC unit when moving in, and that is in the living room. You know this when moving in, but you don't realize how much you want central AC. Even when it was 60 degrees outside it was 80 or 90 in the apartment.
We also had roaches, so many roaches. That was probably the worst thing ever. I was scared to go into my kitchen most of the time because if I opened a drawer or the dishwasher you would see a lot of roaches crawling about. I'm a very clean person and I put all my food in Ziploc bags and Tupperware, so I was very shocked to have this experience. We had the exterminators come to our apartment numerous times, and they even commented how clean our apartment was. Having the exterminators come out numerous times was also a pain, because you have to move EVERYTHING from your cabinets and drawers and place them in the living room and cover them with a sheet while they spray. If you have a pet, you also have to have them exit the residence for hours. This is all usually done during work hours, so you either have to take time off or find someone who is willing to watch your pet for you. Then when you're done you have to wash everything because who wants roach killing chemicals all over your plates and linens? And then to find one month later the roaches are back?! NO THANKS!
The exterminating company was really nice, but they said that there had to be a problem with one of the neighbors. The roaches probably are just moving from apartment to apartment away from being sprayed. They were also probably building immunity to the poison they were spraying. They had let us know AND the office staff that the whole building should be sprayed. This NEVER happened, the office would not spray the whole building, rather they just said we can only spray your apartment and whoever complains. Please someone tell me how that is going to solve the problem when the experts already told you the roaches are just building a tolerance/immunity to the poison they are spraying around and in the walls?!
Also the office manager is just plain rude. I don't want to say anyone else in the office rude, because they were all really great when I spoke to them. But if you talk to the office manager, she is short with you and does not want to listen. Thank goodness I moved out of there! I see in the comments that someone else had the same problem. I would warn people not to move here. It seems nice on the outside and the prices are really affordable, but there's a reason for that. I would suggest paying a couple hundred more to not have any headaches and have great service elsewhere.
I absolutely love my new home at Sycamore Lane. I get the same amenities that I previously got at my Irvine company apartment and I pay a whole lot less. I love having such easy access to the 5 and the 405. Plus it backs up to a park with lots of great bike trails. I really have to thank Tish, in the front office, for being so welcoming and helping find such a wonderful home!
I am currently a tenant and I love this community. I have nothing bad to say about Sycamore Lane. I enjoy the ducks, egrets, crows, herons and woodpeckers by the river. The pool has new cabanas, chairs and hangout area. I am anticipating the opening of the new gym and clubhouse, I do wish they would hurry with that. Whoever called this place a dump is clearly not living here. Amber in the office is great, Johah and Rocky too.
