  Absoultly awful. Had him put a new clutch in and my car wouldn't make it home. He said I needed a master cylinder. I bought a brand new one. Still won't go in gear. Bought a slave cylinder.still won't move. Another mechanic said the clutch wasn't installed properly. Called several times as well as my husband did and they hang up on us. I would never recommend him.

  I've been taking all of my vehicles to Ronnie's for the last 12 years and I would never take my vehicles anywhere else! I know that my car will be taken care of in a timely manner and I will always be charged a fair price.

  My truck had a hard to diagnose electrical problem. I had had bad treatment at another local mechanics so I was hesitant to try another mechanic in Petersburg. I am sure glad I ignored that and went to Ronnie's! Great customer service, great prices, informative every step of the way, and a true professional! Go there and you will NOT be disappointed!

  I'm active duty Army stationed at FT Lee VA. Being new to the area I asked around for a while looking for someone I could trust with custom Plymouth Valiant. After Ronnie's Automotive kept being mentioned in different circles, I thought this could be the guy and it was. The knowledge base of him and his staff is extensive. Since July I've taken my beloveit to this shop twice and enjoyed the experience and the price. I truly believe that honesty, integrity and courtesy will make or break any business and it has definitely made this one stand out above the rest.

  I mean he is a good guy but I got my transmission replaced and I noticed my car was leaking transmission fluid , I took it back to him about 6 times and he kept saying it was a seal that needed to be replaced. I took it to another mechanic to get it looked at and the mechanic told me it was my transmission line that's leaking and needs to be replace. To my knowledge my car was never lifted up to be inspected properly . I called him to get it replaced and they were suppose to call me back to set it up but guess whattttttt I never received a call back. Hopefully my transmission won't go out on me before I can find another mechanic who can fix it for me. Peace land and bread 🍞

  Ronnie is great he went above and beyond to get my husbands truck back on the road quickly. He is by far a great guy, awesome mechanic and an outstanding pillar of the community. I would recommend others use his service 100%
