As has been mentioned, this is a great place for sledding in the winter and sports in the summer. Often in the middle of the day, you can have this place all to yourself. There is a park up on the north side of the park, and it is a little out of view but its a fun one.

Nice park for everyone, kids, dogs and even supply bags to pick up after your dog. However, the goat head stickers were ridiculously out of control and had to take out of my dogs paws several times. Be careful!

Great area for many types of recreation including soccer, football, baseball and even horse shoes. Wide open area with plenty of space.

Enjoy hanging out at this park. Great view of Riverdale and HAFB. :) Like to watch the jets fly over there.

The park area used to be better when i was growing up but all the fun toys had to be removed. There is still a kids play area, multiple baseball diamonds, a pavilion with a lot of seating and a great sledding hill.

I've been going to this park ever since I was a kid. The view is absolutely stunning -- you can see the entire town. The water fountains work. Plenty of trees and lots of space. Probably my favorite park.
My only complaint is the local sherrifs that tend to loiter here on their break. No one likes police around; it kills the tranquility that this place has and brings a "serious" vibe. There's no need to patrol this place, and I think they do it so they can get away from doing actual work.response / report this review -

Best place for local sledding! Very popular. Fun with lush green grass in the summer. Great playground for smaller children and pavilion and charcoal grills for family your get-together​! Weeds and devil thorns in some areas but all around great place!

Its a pretty big park but in the winter u t has the best sledding hills around they are steep and long and there is plrnty of parking

Spacious and well maintained. The best park around for sledding! Has football, basketball and baseball fields. Spectacular views! Swings and newer playground for kids. There are also a few Pokestops for you GO fans.

Excellent park! It's huge, it's got picnic tables and covered eating areas, bbqs, bathrooms, baseball, soccer, anything you could think of. Great park for all kinds of events. It's tucked away and sort of hard to find though.
