Great family-friendly camping park, secluded and things for people of all ages in the park and near by. It's nice having the boat launch on site. I love that they have sites in wooded areas and it is not like Clute Park. Staff is very friendly and for the most part, a quiet place. Very enjoyable, we've been camping here for 16 years.

Great park employee's and fantastic management and a great place to camp. I recommend it to anyone. It's wooded area makes it feel like camping and close to water!!!!!!!

Perfect low key family friendly place. Nice shade with nice lake views. Doesn't attract obnoxious people so much. Clean and we'll kept.

PROS -
Nice usable boat launch
Nice lifeguards in swimming area
Generally Friendly staff
Quiet pretty area
8 minutes to the city was convenient

CONS -
BATHROOMS ARE VERY BAD -Dirty, dim lighting, not sanitized on a daily basis, no hot water in the women's bathroom, poorly adjusted instant water heater that was unreliable. Only one shower worked in the men's room. Plus they are aware of these problems and are not fixing it.

If you want to use the wifi you have to hang out around the office and bathrooms. Very slow and not very reliable.

The campground seemed cluttered and the actual camp sites weren’t very nice

It would be nice to have some sand in the beach, instead of sharp rocks.

BOTTOM LINE -
We would not go back there, because it was not worth the price at all. We enjoyed our time there, and it was a nice family outing, but this place is lacking in a number of different areas.

Beautiful sunsets and close to the wineries. The bathrooms could be cleaned and the hot water system is difficult to work the showers. These need improving. Otherwise its a nice place.

The campsite is situated right on a beautiful lake. The staff is very friendly. We reserved an electrical camp site but all sites come equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit. There's a Walmart conveniently 8 minutes away if you need to do any shopping. There's also a working shower and amenities on the grounds. Dog friendly as well!

Our favorite campsite. Campsites are private and the location is convenient. Only down side is zebra muscles. Beautiful sunsets, relaxing environment, and family Friendly.
