The food was pretty decent. However, I'm giving this restaurant 1 star due to this establishment being dishonest and taking advantage of their customers. I recommend checking your bill for any extra charges that you may have already paid. Please make sure it's only one person paying or they will not be able to keep up. Also, the waitress named "Red" please do not let her wait on your table. She is dishonest, unprofessional and takes advantage of others. The owner will not try to make things right either. It's more of a money thing for him and as long as you pay before you leave he can care less if you ever come back. Also, when you catch on to them and they start throwing you extra bills they will have waitresses standing behind you too make sure your don't leave with out paying, This was completely tacky and my Family and I will never go back here nor recommend anyone go here. Note to owner: if you continue to take advantage of your customers and let your employees do so as well, your business will continue to go down the drain! God bless everyone reading this, hopefully you won't have to experience this ever.

Never again I went to this place with my kids for what I paid for my food we shouldn't have left still looking for something to eat our waitress came to the table to bring us water she came to the table to take out order she came to the table to drop our food off and we never saw her again we sat and waited and waited and ended up being one of the last three tables left in the restaurant by the time we were getting ready to leave not because it was late and they were getting ready to close but because we were still sitting there waiting for our ticket to pay for our food with people who had came in way after us she did not come over to the table and apologized or asked if we needed anything else or if we wanted anything else and nothing he didn't even acknowledge the fact that we were still sitting there mind you a table had empty plates on it for the longest time and I know we looked lost because I spent so much time moving my head from side to side looking around to see if I saw an hour waitress ever again not only that I ordered oxtails they gave me five little tiny pieces of oxtail that was basically nothing but fat with one little teeny scoop of the potato and one little teeny scoop of a carrot they gave me a whole plate of rice no sauce I was basically scraping my rights around my plate trying to get some sauce on my right so that it wasn't so dry my cabbage was cold no taste and very little juice on the bottom of my bowl my son's cabbage was not cold but it had a bunch of grease and no flavor my whole experience was horrible I only went to this place because I frequent Pirates pool which is right next door and I always see a lot of people coming in and out so I wanted to see exactly what they had to offer I wish I never did

Let me start by saying, “The staff, environment, and food was amazing”! Upon walking in, we were greeted and the waitress assisted us with our to go order at the moment. After waiting 5 mins or so (we were taking photos), we decided to have a drink at the bar. Perfectly made and the bartenders were so awesome! They even engaged in casual conversation that then led us to wanting to sit in and have our food. To say the food was delicious is definitely a understatement. It exceeded our expectations and taste buds. All in all, when I come back to the Atlanta area I will definitely be making a trip to the restaurant again.

    -Shawn!

Heat atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. It might come out at an island pace but it is well worth the wait. Great live music (II Serious) too!

Based on how the outside of this restaurant looked I was not expecting much going in. Immediately upon entering the building you are forced to rethink your original opinion as you are looking at a nice open floor plan with neatly set tables throughout.

The staff were very friendly and personable and were not afraid to make recommendations for what to try. The appetizers we ordered were nothing special. I had the Curry Goat Roti and found more bones in it than goat. However, the flavor was pretty good.

The main dishes we ordered were wonderful. I had the jerk chicken with corn bread and fried plantains. The chicken was spicy with great flavor and was extremely tender and juicy. My friend had the fried chicken which looked and smelled amazing as well. Needless to say there was not much left when we were finished.

Great atmosphere, but servers should be more attentive. The server was pleasant, however with a party of 3 the sever never realized that 2 in the party were finished eating and the 3rd had never received their food. Had to run down another server for help, the food was finally delivered an hourly later by the manager. An apology was good, but comping the meal was expected, and would have been business professional.
BTW It Was Not Very Busy During That Time

Lived it! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal.(20people) The place is very lively. DJ consistently played great music. We left just as the band was getting ready to play. Their warm up was awesome! I will definitely go back to the restaurant.

Amazing food. Great portions. Jerk salmon was awesome (wild caught). Get the plantains. Going back later this week for sure. Update- this place was so good I went every day for 5 straight days. Ox tail stew is amazing. I tried something different each time. So delicious!

I ordered a salad and a jerk shrimp lunch and 2 beef patties. I never got my beef patties and they passed me around on the phone for like 5 minutes, just for a young lady to call me back and say what is your phone number ill call you right back. the nice young lady that did in fact call back is bringing my beef patties. (thanks doll) but that delivery guy was so rude. I always tip big, but I decided to keep this $10.00 in my pocket for his rude behavior.

I'm visiting all the way from Orlando, FL and let me tell you this has got to be some of the best authentic southern food I have ever had! By far the best I loved it and hope to come back here once more before I leave Atlanta. If you're looking for a good southern place to eat I'd say this is your spot.

I came from KC was looking for a soul food place so, we decided to give this place a try. The food was amazing: jerk chicken, collard greens, yams, macaroni and cheese, jerk Alfredo, Festival, curry conch this is what my group had and I tried everything and everything was amazing. The music was awesome. Sorrel was made in house.bomb!!!! Service was just a little bit slow. But is long as I ask them to come and attend our table they did it with a smile. Everyone was very nice, helpful, extremely helpful, very pleasant and may the atmosphere extremely enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place if you are coming to the Atlanta area and want some good Caribbean food.

Previous orders were great. This time it lacked all the side items that I've had before. Overall a great place! Except that I found a piece of twist tie in my food. It was very sharp and could have hurt my throat.

In town visiting family. I did a google search for Jamaican restaurants. So many to choose from, but I kept coming back to Rodney's menu. Absolutely amazing service and meal!! We loved the food so much, we plan on returning before we heard back home to Minnesota! Our waitress (young lady from Alabama) was so sweet and informative. She did introduce herself however, I'm terrible at remember names, sorry hun. I ordered the jerk chicken, collard greens and mac n cheese.. amazing all around. Worth the drive and prices are great. Definitely worth skipping my Vegan lifestyle for a meal or two ;-)

Great Jamaican food. Found this place searching for an open restaurant after 10pm. Staff was friendly and offered great menu suggestions. Ackee and Saltfish was awesome. Collard greens and friend plantains finished the meal. Portions were big and price was good. Great place if traveling through town. Beats the line for Olive Garden right in front.

I thourougly enjoyed the food! I ordered the escovitch whole red snapper, rice and peas, plantains, and curried shrimp. My order was made to go and what made my experience even more spectacular was Fletcher the bartender. He really adds personality and a hospitable warmth. It was hard not to take notice as he managed customers that walked in and those that sat at the bar-- EFFICIENT TO SAY THE LEAST! Thanks for the memorable meal as I was just passing through!

I came in on Good Friday with my husband and infant son, our waitress name was Patricia and she was an excellent, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly server. Pur food was better than good and the overall staff made the experience wonderful. I can't wait to revisit. The only problem was they didn't have Kendall Jackson Chardonnay at the bar
