  Incredible food, amazing wine selection, very quick service--the bar staff was very attentive and our food was ready super fast. The plates are small, but it's good if you're just sorta-kinda hungry. Great atmosphere; be prepared to dress pretty nice if you're going here for dinner. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Highly recommend!

  Food is very good, I have tried most of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The service can be a little hit or miss though which is why I docked a star. They get very busy, so I suppose it is somewhat understandable, but I can feel how rushed the servers are at times. Cocktails are great too though! Overall I definitely recommend Cleo for a delicious Hollywood dinner.

  Food was good, But...
  
  When we got there our names weren't on the reservation although we had an e-mail, text and a phone call verifying it.
  
  Finally, when they believed we have a reservation, they realized our guests had actually already arrived. Only that they didn't and the waitress walked us to a stranger's table. Needless to say everyone felt super awkward. After that we got a smaller table. Whatever.
  
  Also our waitress didn't understand what "deaf" means, and kept whispering to one of the guests, although we told her a few times she needs to stop doing that.
  On top of everything she made us feel unwelcome there, and it was not fun.
  
  A little work on the service will make this place amazing.

  We called for reservations before going to see Hamilton; however, there were no tables available. We were fortunate enough to walk into the restaurant and two seats miraculously ooened up at the bar. The food and atmosphere were outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

  Excellent food, set up for sharing multiple items. Incredible pita and great drinks. Fun, lively atmosphere with excellent people watching. Only negative was poor air conditioning/air circulation, making restaurant overly warm.

  Amazing atmosphere, inventive food. Great place for sharing plates with friends. I would recommend the Hummus with Tahini, Spicy Cigars (amazing) Lamb Kefta Kabob.

  Fabulous menu and awesome decor. We tried almost everything on the menu and didn't regret any of of. Service was tremendous and they really made you feel like you never need to leave. This place is sexy and fun without being pretentious. A must try.

  Love this lunch spot close to work for delicious food n ambience. Plus you cannot go wrong with service here. My favorite is Orzo pasta salad with grilled lamb Sharma.

  Giving Cleo Hollywood 4 stars because of the awesome service. Mario went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of as I waited for my friend to arrive. From there, he provided attentive, kind service throughout the remainder of the meal. I was very, very impressed by him.The food, atmosphere and location were great too! I especially enjoyed the salmon appetizer.

  Cleo was the perfect spot for us to meet up with friends visiting LA. We ordered a bunch of Tapas to share family style. We went on a Sunday night and the place was popp'n; so so busy. Our server was so nice and apologetic about the wait, although we didn't feel it was taking long at all. .. She even went a step beyond and comped our deserts for us. The Tip was included in the bill and was worth a little extra too. The atmosphere here is so gorgeous; it was old Hollywood style, had the look and feel of what it might have been like 50 years ago, but not dingy or full of old memorabilia ... very dimly lit but bright enough to see what you are eating or who you are talking with. The Tapas were not exactly authentic style from Spain. It was more of a Mediterranean fusion on small plates. If you are looking for Authentic Spanish style Tapas, this ins't your place, but if you want a unique place to go for small tastes from around the world over a glass or wine in an unpretentious, yet classy place, you will love Cleo.

  Wow, blown away by the kindness and friendliness of every person that works here. Such positive vibes, and the managers/owners make you feel right at home. They even got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to my sister. Very impressed with the service all around :D
