Owned by a different culture and finding myself enjoying the pleasures of learning more while feeling honored because they wanted to teach me. The manager, Ray, opened up with me and took me to a special garden of his and shared with me a leaf from a plant that delivers miraculous recoveries.
I saw and noted how prideful he was with his garden until one day I stopped by to say hello and noticed his garden was unkept and un-cared for. This gave me an idea
Beginning November 11th Innovative Landscapes is going to construct a complete raised garden fully equipped with automatic irrigation controller which can be programmed, monitored, and controlled via Wi-Fi, landscape lighting who h can be controlled via Bluetooth.
I wouldn't stay here if I were you. Take heed to my warning and read what happened below.
In October 2017, Columbus day weekend, We stayed in room 105. It had roaches. We reported it to the front desk person and they did nothing about it. My sister-in-law killed 2 while using the bathroom and was unable to kill another by the bed. All was reported to the front desk personnel. Because they didn't do anything we decided to call Travelocity and inform them of our situation. Travelocity asked us to hold on while they spoke with the front end person to get us a refund for the remaining nights. This was the only way they could put us in another hotel. We would've settled for a room change that was roachless but I'm assuming that wasn't available.
The front end person, Ray, came to our room and banged on the door like he was the police. Upon opening the door he aggressively demanded to know what was wrong with the room, why we wanted to leave and why did we call Travelocity? My sister explained the situation and I showed him the smeared roach on the back of the bathroom door. He then says that's not a roach. Lol. We are from NYC, we know what roaches look like. He insisted it was a fly. We insisted he stop lying and saying the Sun was blue. He became argumentative and then kicked us out of the hotel. Saying get out, you don't want to stay in the room then get out. I'll refund your money for the next 2 days. He then told Travelocity that he wouldn't refund our 💰. Travelocity then told us there was nothing they could do. We told the agent what he said, in regards to the refund. Then Ray came back to the room and demanded that we leave immediately - get out. We said you told Travelocity you wouldn't refund our money so we could go to another hotel. At this point, we did not feel safe. He was very aggressive and hostile. We closed the door, locked it and continued to inform Travelocity of the occurring situation. The agent then said Ray agreed to the refund. As we began to repack, I found a roach crawling around in the drawer where I stored my cloths. I was disgusted. Ray then called on the phone to further harass us. I explained to him in the nicest way possible, we were leaving, there was a roach in the drawer where my clothing was and now I must shake each article before putting it in my luggage. I didn't want to take any critters with me. I attempted to capture the roach in an effort to present it to Ray as he called it a fly but to no avail.
Location was very convenient and close by to several food places. The room was great. Would stay again
The hotel is excellent nice and clean and very close to Lego land and walking distance to beach and carlsabd downtown.
Front desk guy only seen at check in.Room was far from Alrite.Only one washcloth, pillows were hard and lumpy, beds uncomfortable, dirty floors. There is no breakfast like site says. It is quite. That's the nicest thing we can say about this place. My son and husband took a walk around the parking lot and seen a crack pipe. That was shocking.my husband did inform the guy at desk when we checked out,not sure how he handled it. Not sure what others paid ,but we expected a little better for 470.00 ,for a double for two nights. There was only one shampoo, two cups of coffee. Please watch yourself at this place is not what it portrays on the sites.
My stay at the Rodeway Inn in Carlsbad, CA has been excellent. I am working and come and go every week, going home on weekends. I am always welcomed back, and check in is very quick. My room includes a coffee maker, hair dryer, fridge and microwave and the rooms are clean and everything is functioning. The housekeeping staff is friendly as is the front desk and always respectful and helpful to anything I might need. The one con I have is that I think the carpets could do with a deep cleaning. Other than that, my stays here have been an excellent value for the price based on this tier of hotel and its location, only a quarter mile or so from the beach. I have stayed here at least 28 times and will continue and what is a better statement than that!
The location was great.
Near legoland.
Parking space is great also.
Laundry room was good.
The room was clean with small refrigerator and microwave.
Near the park and town. Lots of restaurants at the town.
No breakfast included.
Customer service is good.
It's a little inexpensive motel and it is about as expected. Microwave and refrigerator in room was a nice bonus.
It was simple and quiet, the rooms was clean. No complaints. Not all Rodeway Inn have breakfast, mines didn't do breakfast, but I still had good sleep.
On the website it says that parking is free and breakfast too!!! The only problem was that the management didn't know anything about it and played dumb!!! One thing is for sure if problems like this one arrise and you play dumb it is just going to upset the customer a whole lot more and that is exactly the case here!!!
Room 213 only has an ocean view if you're standing up outside. It's misleading to say the least. Also it's open to a shared patio which I was told when we checked in but with two small children who can reach locks I would have preferred to be given another option.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel September 1, 2016 until September 5, 2016. It was a cozy room in a quiet area. Everything was new and refurbished. The customer service was friendly and helpful during my stay. There were nice parks, shops, and dining within a 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk. I would recommend staying at this hotel as a midway point of San Diego, Oceanside, and the airport (SAD).
