Great great food and wonderful staff. Feels like your a guest in their home and they're making your favorite wings for you. The mountain dew is always really good as well.
THE BEST WINGS I'VE EATEN!!
This wingshak has never disappointed me or my wife we get the 20 wings to split she has the garlic pepper sauce and I have the traditional hot buffalo sauce and they are consistently amazing! Highly recommended for any Wing connoisseur who loves exceptionally prepared, quality wings.
Loved the hot pepper garlic sauce. Chicken seemed to be good quality. The fries tasted like they were fresh out of the freezer section. Essentially $1/wing seemed pretty steep and would/will certainly prevent me from being a regular.
I liked the wings and if I'm ever craving some again and happen to be nearby then I think I would stop in, but I don't think I would go out of my way for these. The main deterrent for me with wings in the area is they usually cost more than what I'm used to paying for them. Coming from Central NY (and having family in Buffalo) its not easy for me to pay $1 or more per wing. I'm used to paying a maximum of $.50/wing. That note aside, I enjoyed the wings, but I might just have to get my wing fix every time I go back east.
Pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. Though the owner/manager was a little grumpy the food was amazing. Good enough for me to write this review just after finishing up. I got the Garlic Parmesan and was scraping to get every piece of meat I could. Great prices and great food.
Great place for real chicken wings. No coating just fried chicken wings. I get them crispy with the hot parmesan on the side. Prob best wings in the county.
I love the sauces they have here. Especially the fry sauce! I get the lunch special that comes with 8 wings and fries or tots and a drink for $10
Love the lunch special. The wings are big and the tots are top notch. Love going here with my buddies, though I wish there was more sauce variety. Most of them taste very similar.
Best Wings this side of Buffalo. Don't be mislead by the chains, these wings are legit! I am from Western New York and I have eaten wings all over that area, including the Anchor Bar and Grill. These wings are every bit as good as Anchors and the sauces are even better. Service is good, fries and tots are good, as are the salads and wraps.
Adult dude at the counter was so rude I changed my review from 5 to 2 stars. Such a money hungry just mean person. Like their wings are already overpriced but he wouldn't even let us or the people behind us pick two flavors on a 15 piece whereas our first visit they gladly made an exception and let us get two flavors on a 10 piece. Dirtbag old guy will probably fire his good young employees for offering good customer service. Food remains delicious and the latter part of my review stands. But I know why reviews aren't a 5 all around, it's because of the rude guy working the counter on Saturday at 2pm (probably the owner). Seriously. Like how do more people not know about this place? Great service, fantastic (and I mean fantastic) wings! The flavors were next level. Got hot garlic pepper and hot Parmesan. Killer, killer, killer. Absolutely will return. Very pricey for the record. But worth its weight in silver (about what you pay).
Great local business I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. The garlic pepper and parmesan wings are awesome.
First impression: restaurant is empty. I wonder why..
Once I get to the counter the owner was on his phone and didn't even acknowledge I was there, had to stand there awkwardly for a minute while he ignored me texting on his phone.
Once he takes my order he is rude. I asked some questions about the menu since I've never been there before and he treated me like an idiot for asking.
Listen, if you want customers to eat here and return then treat them like it. Doesn't matter what food you're serving if you're unprofessional and don't have basic customer service skills. I wouldn't come back to this place. I would definitely go to wingnutz instead, better food and service.
A pretty good won't place to that feels like more of a lunch cafe than a dinner bar. Portions are good sized for the money and are pretty good. The tator tots are very good.
I love this place and usually things are great but today Today was not great. Some friends and I tried to call in an order, it was large I will admit to that, but we were told they cannot take orders over 5 specials because it is their policy, and it was during their busiest part of the day. OK I get that, even though we called it in at 11 and said we didn't need it till 12, you have your policy OK that's fine. So we called in twice with 2 separate orders. We were told with each one that it would be ready in 10 minutes What's the difference if it is one order or two? And they indeed had it done when we got there, yet they say orders over 5 need to be placed a day in advance. Upon arriving to collect our food we were asked if we had called in the order as one order earlier. We admitted to it as they again reiterated their policy. I didn't want to fight and simply said "interesting way to approach business". Well this was enough for the owner to come out and have a word with us, spending time to scold us on giving him over $100 that day, when he could have been in the back fulfilling another order. I get that you're a small operation but don't you think as a business owner you should do what you can to get more customers and make more money? Instead we were alienated. If it weren't for the many friends waiting on food I would have not paid as left the food there for them to deal with. The owner proceeded to tell us that next time we would have to come in as wait in line If you want people to do that then don't even offer a call in option. I'm not one to argue with someone and make a scene, but I am one to leave this review here for all to see. Great food, horrible customer service.
The wings are honestly some of the best I've ever had. It's too bad the the best wing place around is run by the owner that it has. Alan is extremely rude and short with customers. Today I went in and ordered the bone-in lunch special. He thought I said boneless and proceeded to argue with me about what I ordered before I had even placed the order.
If you're looking for some good wings this is your place but if you get treated like an annoyance by the management don't be surprised.
