Cool place to hang out.. just be careful when you go under the bridge. Fort Worth doesn't isn't much on street maintenance

The course renovations are nice. The staff needs some work. No water at any of the stations when it was 97 degrees. The restaurant was closed, so we couldn't get any drinks. There was no starter, we had a 4:50 tee time and didn't get going until 5:15. At 8:20 they came around and said carts had to be in by 8:30 even though there was 30 minutes of daylight left.

This is not the Rockwood golf course we have always known. It has been completely reinvented, on the same property, and for the better. The grass on the fairways is nice enough that you don't have to wish it was legal to tee up your ball. The sand in the traps is actually sand. About the only downside worth mentioning is that it is a long way from green to tee in a few cases, for those of us who choose to walk.
