VERY clean, vintage motel - from soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom to the real key to open the door! You can't get any closer to the bridge or Lake Huron from another hotel/motel. With the very reasonable lodging rate and eating great home cooked meals at Audie's, we still spent less than any of the chain prices advertised that included breakfast! Yes, other motels might have larger rooms, but we get a room for a good night's sleep - not to spend our get-away time in a room! The brand new owners were very helpful and accommodating. We will be sure to stay here again!

A jewel of a hotel. Mom and pop feel of a bygone era. Clean, quiet and friend staff. A bsolutly the best view in Mackinac city. Literally on the straits.

I will definately be back!! Was up for the Mini on the Mack event. The manager is delightful!! She was informative with events going on and local discounts. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The showers were hot!!!

Wonderful stay. Rooms are immaculate even though it's an older motel. Owners are friendly and helpful. Great views of the bridge. Will absolutely stay here again.

The one thing I like about this room is that you have a good view of the bridge, ONLY from certain rooms though. The showers go from hot to cold water constantly. There was NO microwave, NO fridge, NO hair dryers. There is ONLY ONE trash in the whole room & that was in the rest room Like I said there is only about 3 rooms I would like renting from here and only for the view of the bridge. There is a nice heated outdoor pool but every thing outside just looks dingy and needs a lot of upkeep and cleaning. There isn't a single trash can outside ANYWHERE in the parking lot, or ash trays so people were tossing their butts everywhere. The manager or office person that was there while we were seemed very unwelcoming and rude.. We moved hotels because we just wanted a night with the view of the bridge and then we were over it.

Our room was clean, tidy and quiet during our stay over the Labor Day weekend. The view of the Mackinaw Bridge was unobstructed and beautiful at night.
Marietta & Lynn (the owners) were very warm and welcoming, arranging our transportation and offering great suggestions for local restaurants and attractions and even provided coupon books for some of the more popular places around town.
The location is right on the beach and within walking distance of just about everything. I suggest booking a room months in advance if you plan to visit over the Labor Day holiday. You won't regret it!

What a gem! Such a quiet and simple motel with an unforgettable view. Owners are GREAT and very personable. They made us feel at home! We'll be back for many more vacations and memories.
