Only four stars because it is not close to the river, but the cabins themselves are very nice, the owners are friendly, the area is quiet other than the river noise, and they have internet access.

Stayed here with my dad and aunt . We had a great time and the houses are very nice and clean very quiet near a river and beside a good nature trail and give u sticks to walk with

Found them on the web. Located on a high ridge over the New River Valley, surrounded by woods. Trail down the valley to the New River Trail and the river is steep but worth it. Six nicely appointed, comfortable, quiet cabins with very attentive and helpful owners. What a difference from an outside agency representing an absentee owner. They are the owners and they are onsite at the top of the hill.

Loved the spacious porch, windows that open all around for fresh mountain air, comfy and well-equiped kitchen, even new gas grill on the porch.

We will, Lord willing, be back to enjoy this scenic part of New River Valley and walk, bike and canoe.
