This place was amazing!!!! My two small children wanted to fish while we were visiting the mountains and I wanted them to get the most out of the experience. I chose a trout farm because you WILL catch a fish - or several of you choose. The gentleman in charge was great with the kids and his sweet dog was the main attraction for my two little animal lovers (I think her name was Daisy). They talked about the fishing and Daisy all the way back to Raleigh. Buck Creek says their aim is customer service and they hit the mark! I would highly recommend them and we will be back. Thank you Buck Creek.

This was a great find while we were exploring in the Blue Ridge Parkway area. Steve and his staff are great, very helpful and make the fishing experience for young fishermen and fisher women very enjoyable.
This pond is very well stocked with quality rainbow trout. My kids had a blast. We surely will return.response / report this review -

Great place to go fishing cheap to for fresh fish you catch yourself they provide everything & clean them too. CHEAPER THAN GROCERY STORE AND FRESHER I LOVE THIS PLACE MARINADE IN A LITTLE ITALIAN DRESSING COOK ON GRILL DELICIOUS. A FAMILY OUTING

Good folks!! They are great and very nice. The trouts are beautiful and big and their price are good. I wanted the boys to catch bigger fish and they both landed some 1-2 pounders. The place is well kept and the pond is fed with creek water really clean environment. They provide rods and bait from worm, corn and even eggs!! We really enjoyed the experience and the kids were super happy to catch the big fish! Go visit you will not be deceived.

small ponds but easy to catch and most of the fish are nice size, good price too. It's a little long to get there but definitely worth the trip and a great experience.
