I am never one to write a negative review, however I am very disappointed with the convenience store. Since the ice cream and convenience store opened, my family and I have been regular customers on the weekends whether it be for fuel, beverages, ice cream, ect. The past 4 weekends that we have visited I we got ice cream once each weekend and all 4 times my order was not even close to what I had asked for or was missing more than 2 ingredients. In past summer I was never disappointed but this year was just a bummer.

Very nice park but rules are made as they go by the "Big Boss" supposedly not updated on his entrance rules but also if you're not a seasonal rules apply was told he wants this park to be seasonal. We'll see how that works for him. I'm not a business man but 55 night compared to a seasonal I would leave room to make the $$$$.

Overall this place is great. Manicured lawns, paved roads, pool, and holiday celebrations. They have a marina with boats to rent, a Laundromat, and golf carts to rent at registration. They have a park with 2 tennis courts, several basketball courts, a play set, and a 'Big Bouncer'(AKA bouncy pillow). At the community center, there is a arcade (stairs to the left at the door),a conference room, and a pool, with a slide, and golf cart parking at the back.

Sadly the downsides of this place had me remove one star, there aren't many but, they're big deals. You cannot leave or enter after ten or before eight along with this you cannot leave the campsite after ten or before dawn. Essentially Putting the place on lockdown. And all but 2 roads in the site are one way witch is a MAJOR inconvenience. But I think this place is great for older kids although a larger majority of the children is under 10.

An absolutely lovely RV Resort. The staff is very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Pontoon rentals are available however they are rather pricey. I'm sure we will stay here again.

** CAUTION ** 2013 UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: New Manager Doug Thompson changed my contract and demanded more money for a seasonal site. Stated if I didn't like it, he would refund my deposit and the next person in line would be happy to take my spot. I challenge anyone to question his authority; this guy will tell you he is the owner and then threaten to cancell your stay at this park. If you like gestapo like tatics of management, then stay here. You have been warned. Future law suits should be directed at the owner - Richard C. Klamer Sr of Hamilton and River Quest LLC. Hope this helps.

Super clean campground, immaculate grounds. Nice big pool overlooking the Muskegon River. Security always around which made me feel safe with my kids wondering the park. Nice tennis/basketball courts. My only complaint which I think is important, is the main office closes daily very early at 5:00. The laundry facilities and fitness center are located in the main office along with sports equipment checkout, which means you can't do anything after 5. Campground is definitely geared more toward the retired couples with fancy golf carts, you golf carts around the campground rather than bikes. They also have a no electric scooter policy which was a bummer to us. My kids loved the scheduled crafts and activities on Saturday but it's only on Saturday's wish there was more during the weekdays. It's the place to camp if you own your own boat, the river is beautiful but beware of rental prices of pontoons which go up to $500/day. 5 stars for cleanliness, 3 starts because of their policies/management.

We have stayed here every Summer for 6 seasons now and could not be happier. This is a clean, safe place and is kept up to the highest standards. The management team works hard to keep it a pleasant and lovely place to visit and the owner is committed to the same goals.
