this place is so amazing I recommend this palace to everyone who has a cat or a dog they are super sweet so kind they are always calling back to see if your pet is doing OK after an appointment they also are very flexible if need be they are amazing highly recommend this place!!! it feels like home I know I can count on them whenever my dogs sepi needs they really are there for you no matter how big or small your question is they are basically family

they are super understanding that my dog is super nervous and let me walk her to the door to make her feel better

We love River Forest Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Kania. My puppy has had some ongoing health issues and Dr. Kania has been there every step of the way doing everything she can to get him feeling better. She’s a great listener, doesn’t make me feel rushed when speaking to her on the phone, and I’m always comfortable with her and the staff when dropping my dog off. Their prices are very reasonable and they always have appointments, even if it’s a drop off appointment. Definitely recommend them!

I’ve been to a couple of different places for my new pet. I wasn’t really impressed with either until I came here. Dr Lou and the staff was very attentive; as a new pet owner they took the time to answer all my questions. My search is now over as I have found the perfect clinic at the River Forest Animal Hospital for me and my new pet!

I'm so thankful I switched to this animal hospital after buying a home in River Forest. RF Animal Hospital puts the animal's health and well being first, ahead of their bank account, unlike the last Vet who took advantage of us financially for 10 years and didn't solve our dog's problem.

Such amazing friendly staff.They enjoy working there. Never seen an unpleasant face. I been taking my 3 year old french bulldog there since she was a puppy. They are soo sweet to her. Plenty of parking as well.

I've always had a great experience here. They are caring and gentle but also well equipped and thorough. I have only taken cats here but in my experience they're the best vet clinic in the area. They aren't the cheapest by any means, but I haven't found their prices unreasonable.

I highly recommend Dr Thomas. He is kind, gentle and happy. My dog is very anxious and Dr T puts him at ease. The staff are all polite, welcoming and thorough. The bonusI have yet to wait my apptthe Dr runs on time!! RF Vet is the very best!

They take good care of our dogs. We recently switched from another practice in Oak Park and prefer going here. Our dog just had ACL surgery and is in recovery. The surgery seemed to have been done well as she is recovering well. It's not the cheapest place but you get good care. Easy to get appointments.

Dr. Thomas and staff are amazing! They treat your pets as if they were their own. I have some hard to handle dogs when it comes the vet, and the staff here is willing to take the time to get to know my dogs, go at their pace, and make the whole experience less stressful. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

I have taken my older cat (15 years) here for two years now and I like the quality of care and the overall experience. They had some turnover in vets and I'm still learning more about his new vet but she does seem very competent overall. Some feedback for her might be to listen a bit more than talking, as sometimes we know our pets better than you think. As with most vets, there is a bit of upselling to more testing and services, but they aren't too hard-sell. At least they don't push prescription food like a lot of vets.

They are very conveniently located and there is plenty of parking, which is important criteria when lugging a pet. The facility is clean and they also will board cats, which very few pet boarding facilities will do anymore.
