Fantastic folks, very knowledgeable, fair prices and definitely take care of their customers. My truck was in and out in a timely manner so it will definitely be taken care of by them in the future if need be!
Good well rounded people that will work with you
Hard working folk.
Do yourself a favor and take your car ANYWHERE but here. Put a new engine in using a YouTube video, you would get better results. After putting a second crappy engine in my car they refuse to honor the warranty and claim it's my fault, that I ran the car out of oil. I had just changed the oil and I checked it the day the car broke down and the level was fine.
I have been going to this shop for several years. I loved the former owners and was very skeptical when I learned that there some changes. However, I have to say that so far so good. We have had a new engine installed on one vehicle and general maintenance on another in the last few months. The prices are comparable, if not better than other places and they install quality products. I tried to save money by finding an engine online, they did some research of what I found and discovered the company had multiple complaints on BBB. I have to add that Zack is an incredible asset to the business. He is very communicative with the clients and goes above and beyond. The rest of the guys as well. I like to go somewhere that I can trust the people and be treated like family, that is Ritchie Automotive.
I wish I could give NO STAR Went to go get manifold gaskets done and I have way more problems on my dash that are not necessary. Apparently they had to disassemble my whole engine from the truck to take the bolts off. They caused my oil light to come on by breaking a wire. I had just had an oil change 1 week prior and they've had to change the oil anyways. They cracked my coolant container. They caused a Leak in my power steering. My temperature gauge doesn't read now it always stays under cold so if my truck were to overheat I would never know with them causing a leak in my coolant. I payed 2800 and they refuse to even fix one of their mistakes. And instead of engaging in a detailed coversation about my truck and it's fixes thyme want to brag abiut how they have bought new trucks and how much they have spent on them. They want to talk about they're brand new house they just bought on a big slab of land. They want to talk about their new car that they just bought for their wife. I want to know about how my truck is doing. Not all of that.. Also prior to put in my truck in the shop I ask them so what happens if something goes wrong in the process of them putting my engine back together. The guy who works the front desk replies. We are good at this. That's all that he has to say. He has a cockey attitude.
About 3 months ago a friend's engine died and based on recommendations from others he took the car to Ritchie's to have it rebuilt, which was an expensive option as you can imagine. They kept the car for an unbelievable 6 wks, they were given the car back and had it no more 3 wks when they had to bring the car back because there was a huge hole in the engine. Now another 3 wks they are still waiting for the garage to fix the engine. There is no follow-up from the garage, have the time they don't even seem to remember they still have the vehicle. I would not recommend this garage for any major work unless you can do without your vehicle for months at a time.
