The Salsa is mostly diced onion, very little tomato or tomatillo or peppers. Should have much more tomato and not rely on onions to make it spicy. Worst Salsa at any Mexican restaurant I have ever had. The hot sauce is good though. So if you order a burrito have them leave out the salsa (which is onion), and use the hot sauce instead. Also the guacamole is green colored liquid that goes rancid in an hour or two, very little actual avocado or it would be chunkier instead of soupy. So if you want to take something with guac to the park or the beach forget about it, go somewhere else to get your food. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito no Pico de Gallo, with extra Guacamole inside. I received my burrito with a thin spread of guacamole on the tortilla and quite a bit of sour cream. I guess they thought they pass off sour cream as the extra guacamole that I ordered and payed for and didn't get. Their Carne Asada Burrito does not come with sour cream. The burrito was not even warm when I got it home and I only live 1 mile away. The Carne Asada meat was a bit chewy, it should be more tender. They could learn to make salsa and guacamole from Lalo's , Filibertos, Ponces, Santana's, Cotija or go to Epicurious, or food network . Meat is good but everything else except hot sauce is up to question. I do recommend their Carnitas burrito, it is a bit greasy but very good flavor and meat is tender.

Lastnight, I ordered 5 chicken roll tacos from Rogoberto's taco shop 5070 Federal Blvd San Diego Ca 92102.
When i got them they were saugy, on account of how hungry i was I ate one.
I could not bear to eat another!
It smelled like fish. My husband is a cook in a restaurant, and in our conclusion the food was rotten.

The plan to take the food back and get a refund was successful. Although, I can't help but ponder the fact that it seemed as if they already knew they sold me rotten meat. There were about 5 workers, while all their attention was on me about 3 smelled the food and acknowledged the stench. The others employees including the lovely woman translating for me who was enjoying her freshly cooked meal, denied the food to be rotten. They even tried to tell me & i quote, " Thats just the cheese, thats what cotijas cheese smells like, next time order them without cotijas cheese." When she didnt even smell the food. Maybe they thought i couldn't understand spanish, because I didn't speak it. But i can also quote them saying, "just give her 6 dollars back, its just 6 dollars," .."if she ends up in the hospital its on you because your the cook." The whole time it seemed to be funny to them. 😚🤣😂😅😌

They made it seem like I wanted my money back because i was full.
    Which was not the case.

I got my money back, but money 💰 is not the issue. My issue with this restaurant is they are going to continue selling rotten meat and poultry to randomly selected customers, inlcuding our children. And continue to laugh about it.

I took a food handlers class, and this restaurants employees have no clue how devestating the consequences can get from food born sicknesses.

Yes, I reported my situation to the health department of san diego.

I am rating this restaurant to inform my community of my awful experience ordering from this place.

Off to hug the toilet !!! 🤢

I went there for lunch today and ordered a California burrito with no meat. Apparently they never have vegetarians eat here because the guy had to repeat to the staff 5 times "no meat". Never the less I was about half way through when I tasted something I thought was a over fried salty French fry. Upon further inspection I found a piece of bacon about the size of a quarter. At that point I knew I had been eating bacon this whole time. I went in and told them I order a burrito with no meat and that this one has bacon, showing them the piece. Immediately the kitchen guy and the cash register guy started denying it was bacon. Then the kitchen guy stuck his fingers (with no gloves) into the open part of the burrito and digs around all while saying "that's not bacon there's no more bacon in here". After that I asked him "if it's not bacon what is it?" They didn't have an answer for that and rather upset the cashier said "ok then what do you want?" I wanted my money back not another meat burrito. He was pissed off at me because they fed me meat!? Not only that but he also refused to refund the full amount! Never go to this place if you don't eat meat. For the rest of my breathing days I will do everything in my power to keep people from eating at this restaurant.

Some items are really good most are just ok. They are a bit over priced and they take longer than most taco shops.

This Taco shop used to be my favorite but now they rush and used old guacamole in their food. I always get carne asada fries because they make those the best. But lately they have been soggy with chewy carna asada it's freaking gross. I'm so disappointed because of their lack ness of patience with food. I didn't mind spending 10 dollars for fries because they were bomb not anymore. I'm sitting here eating these nasty ass fries right now because I'm hungry and in a rush because I have to be at work. But I won't eat from here anymore unless some changes happen. I'm just really disappointed 😔. Although I do love their salsa especially the habenro but that's it.
