I wanted to try a new breakfast spot since and I am a huge breakfast food person and this was a great choice to make! The customer service was very good, the food came out in a timely manner and was so delicious! I ordered pancakes turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with hot green tea. It’s also a good idea to call in and say that you are coming so by the time you get there your spot will most likely be ready. Excellent restaurant!

Great little diner serving breakfast & lunch. Decor is like sitting in a fifties kitchen.brought back lots of memories of my childhood! We had a table (or friends homes had ones) just like this! Food is outstanding. Be ready to try something new - you'll be glad you did! Service was great 😊 My coffee cup was never allowed to get cold & the brew was very good.

This place is a true Atlanta heirloom. The food is tasty, the coffee is solid, and the service is excellent, but I come here for the atmosphere. It is a truly unique spot, and my official happy place.

Amazing coffee. Great breakfast. You must try the gingerbread waffle on the weekend! Very old time and great service. Cash only and one check only however, but there is an ATM available in the restaurant.

Really good breakfast options and the biscuits are amazing. Great service. Seriously, I've never had a bad experience here. Everyone is super friendly. Gotta love the retro decor, too.

I know it's listed in the description, but this place is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM in house though.

What a great find. Never crowded for a weekday lunch. Best breakfast around. The gingerbread waffle with lemon curd is delicious. The fresh blueberry pancakes are divine. The retro decor is so cool. Great spot to take out of town guests.

When you enter in to Java Jive, you feel like you're being transported back into the 1950s. It's a pleasant surprise. I wanted to try everything on the menu, but opted for the special of the day - omelette with avocado, cream cheese and tomato. The homemade biscuits are delicious! It's a must try! And the service is impeccable. It's cash only!

Food was excellent but parking in back was tricky. Only one lane next to building to get in or out and on an incline. A must see for nostalgia buffs. Great 1950 feeling. If you are looking for home cooking at a reasonable price you will find it here.

Great service and delicious scrambles. A really old school cool feel and decorated with 1950s appliances, furniture and adverts. The cheddar cheese grits and Santa-Fe scramble can't be beat. Keep in mind it is cash only but there is an ATM on site as well.
