If I could post 1/2 a star I would. Pizza is semi-decent but the two rude girls working behind the counter made me lose my appetite. This little blonde girl was so rude it blew my mind. I asked her if her family owned the place because I have no idea what demon possessed her and gave her the idea that she could be brutally mean to every customer that walks through the door I almost didn't pay and was contemplating throwing my pizza at the two girls behind the counter but then I thought that wouldn't be fair to the owners of the place, they might be great people. Regardless, never going back to this place because of the terrible employees, especially the blonde girl that worked the Monday night I went in last week.

Been in here a couple of times, always miserable people working there. & then I hear that the owner likes to call people derogatory names such as retard? I told everyone I know to never go here again, I’m not sure of why you feel you’re high enough to call anyone that, given your life goal was to own a pizza shop full of crabby employees so you’re obviously a little slow to begin with. Shows in how you run your business. First step to having a thriving business with customers that actually come back? Common Decency of a human being.

Im being curteous with my 2 stars because I dont have to drive far for an a la vodka slicehowever the owner is EXTREMELY rude. He likes to call people retards. Never would think someone who deals with the public would use the word retard in such a derogatory way..towards people without special needs He should use his head and not act like that. Im disgusted and so is everyone in the Brentwood and Bay shore area. 😢😡
Edit to reply: Yes i do have the right place. You guys are right next to retro on commack road. :) also about a month ago they were doing the blacktop. Soooo i think that sounds about right! 😘 I dont appreciate the owner calling my fiance or anyone around him stupid 😘😘😘 especially since ive always gone to this restaurant and so has he. He was never parked ontop of the blacktop actually. YOU just assumed he was. It was a co worker parked there. But its kind of weird that the pizzeria's father is finding me on Facebook to message me then seeing who im in a relationship to send a facebook message too. Also he came home to tell me because its ridiculous how you would speak to people. And to let me know how you spoke to one of his co-workers and to let me know we will never be going there again. Use your head! But now all of google knows how much of a bully you are. He was just telling me so i make sure that all of my friends and family never go there again. I know plenty of people in Deer Park, Bay Shore, and Brentwood. You have lost my business and plenty of others as well. I hope you find it in your heart one day to be kind to others because in the end it could hurt your daughter's restaurant looking at all . these negative reviews. Have a wonderful day.
Also you must be mortified because someone called you out on your bad attitude!
Just gotta add again. It wasnt him parked on the blacktop but you felt the need to insult EVERYONE there.

owner is rude, miserable, and a liar. You will see him occasionally make up lies just because he likes to complain and is always in a rotten mood. You will see him scream at ppl cause he doesn't like where they're parked. This guy thinks he's the mayor of deer park I guess. Some ppl who work there are upbeat and nice though. others look like they always hate working there.

Every star taken off is for terrible service. This is the 3rd and last time I order anything from here. Ordered 1 pasta dish at 750pm, was told it would be 20 minutes. At 815, I was told it would be 5 more minutes. Now it's 830 I'm still waiting. I'm fine with it taking 40 minutes but tell me 40 minutes then, not 20, so I'm not standing around trying not to look like I'm weirdly staring at the staff.
I get it if it's one time or if the place is slammed But there's 1 person eating inside and only 1 person picked up an order before me. And again, this is the 3rd time it's happened out of my most recent 4 visits.
The food is good, which is what got them 2 stars, but epic mismanagement has killed it for meresponse / report this review -

Richie's Pizza was amazing… i remember a year or two ago that i was at a craft fair with my wife i was hungry as can be and in came Richie's Pizza to the rescue ….the taste is still as good as i remember

Seriously, the best slice(s) I have ever had. The "Shut Up & Try It" is by far the stand out! Followed by the "GrandPa", "Buffalo Chicken" and the garlic knotsamazing! Yummy Everything!!!

Excellent place staff very nice Pricing is perfect and the place is exceptionally clean. Best around and I do travel around. I recommend but not for everyone because then I would not be able to get in to get something to eat it would be way to crowded. My secret spot all the food there is excellent and i have tried many dishes there too.

If Google allowed 3-1/2 stars that's what I would give.
The restaurant itself is nice. Very clean. Bright. Nicely decorated.
The food is mostly very good. The regular slice is delicious. Seems like they use a bit more cheese than most. I like it.
The salads are nice. Some places give you lettuce and tomato. Maybe cucumber. Their salad is made with cherry tomatoes (nice touch), they slice the cucumber very thin (nice touch), and they add shredded carrots (nice touch).
So why not 4 or 5 stars? Well, the last two times I was there the service was Way Too Slow.
Pasta with broccoli, garlic & oil -- 35 minutes.
House salad with grilled chicken -- 25 minutes.
No exaggeration. 35 minutes for pasta with broccoli. That's just too long. :-(
Overall it's a good spot. I do recommend it for a quick slice or a calzone.
By the way they make *fried* calzones. Hard to find. Very delicious!!response / report this review
