Bleh. I was really excited to go here and try a non-chain Mexican restaurant. While not completely disappointed, I was underwhelmed. I appreciated the salsa and chips that came quickly as I sat down. The server was quite attentive and friendly. That was the positive side of the experience. I ordered a combination dish with a taco, chimichanga, and enchilada. The dish came with rice and beans, and the rice had very little flavor while the beans felt simply reheated. I really enjoy Mexican-style refried beans, but these were lacking in flavor and texture. The meal, outside of the rice and beans side dish, was quite good. I tried the tres leches cake for dessert, and it was inedible - dry and not sweet. I have not completely written this place off because of the good service and the adequate main meal, but there are about a dozen other places I would like to try in Westchester before I come back. It

Fiesta Mexico is a small family owned restaurant. The food is amazing and the family is lovely and hard-working. The fajitas carne is a must have and the sangria is made with fresh fruitcool and refreshing.
The restaurant is hidden away in a sort of cul-de-sac amongst a few other stores and eateries.
I really like to support local businesses and Fiesta Mexico makes that easy to do.response / report this review -

Nice little family run restaurant. Decor is very colorful and the service is very attentive. Chips and salsa were plentiful and I liked the addition of a refried beans dip that was just this side of sweet. Had the pork chop meal, spicing seemed a little bland and the rice was overcooked. Must just have been my plate though as my companions liked the presentation of their meals

I had the shredded chicken enchiladas mole and steak tacos and they both exceeded my expectations. They came with a bag of delicious Tortilla chips, salsa, and guacamole. All great. I did take-out because they don't deliver, and it was ready quick in 10-15 minutes.

No BS Mexican. Great combo platters so you can try a variety. Greatest salsa ever. Highly recommend the tampiguena. Awesome steak Mex style at a great price. Owners and staff first rate too
