Great venue, balcony seats are definitely worth the extra money (never thought I'd say that!). Drinks were reasonably priced. Would have been a full five stars but the bathroom situation was awful, especially by the end of the night!
This is one of the top 50 Theaters in the country, maybe the world. The acoustics and atmosphere are wonderful. It's run by a non-profit Foundation that cares about music and the community. Become a member and support great performance art in Tucson!
Great place to see up and coming artists as well as established ones in an small theatre setting. I have been many times and likely will be there many more. Good access to parking and restaurants.
Went and saw Nothing More play here recently, the show was great other than the terrible security staff. The security are power hungry, bullying punks, honestly. You know how when a band throws out drum sticks, people in the crowd will pull at the stick until someone comes away with it? Well NOT here!! If anyone pulled at the stick, the security TOOK the stick from the crowd, so that no one could have it.. This happened multiple times, the crowd is treated like preschoolers here. Also, we saw a girl get blatantly attacked by another girl from behind, pulled her hair from behind and started hitting her. Well the security told them ALL parties involved had to be removed from the show, even the innocent victim… HORRIBLE place to go see a show if you want to be treated like an adult. The security reminded me of people who were pissed that they never got to be cops…. I’ll just pick another venue next time, will never return to this dump!
Great place to see Eagles of death metal. We had the best time at the show and hung out with Boots Electric and friends before the show across the street at the Congress hotel. I can't wait to come back!
Great music venue that always seems to pull good talent. Historic. Could use another remodel. Go see a show. Its fun.
Love it! See many great bands on their off days! Skinny Puppy on Halloween, Primus in 3d, etc. Accidentally find great music you had no idea would hit Tucson. I always look at the sign when I reach downtown! R-bar is attached and you can access it during shows, which is nice if you want a good drink. Never been to a "sit down" show there, so I've only rarely seen seats.
My wife and I have been to a ton of shows there and love the Rialto (the bricks and mortar that make up its walls have worked their way into our hearts and it is now one of those places that somehow transends from being just a building, into a "hallowed" and beloved part of our lives here in Tucson. Regarding the staff, everyone there is so accomadating and friendly--often going out of their way to make the experience even more enjoyable. We have enjoyed it so much so that we now splurge every year and purchase a Golden ticket.
We saw Conor Oberst here in May 2017 and the venue is really charming. It immediately reminded me of Spreckels Theater in San Diego but it is smaller and a little more intimate. We sat in the balcony and there are no doubt seats. Everyone who was working the event were professional and the accommodations were cozy. I had a great time here.
This place is very small and cozy. This could be a great place to see a show except they're not afraid to over sell a show. The show I saw was the worst concert experience I've ever been to because we were packed in like sardines. I wish I could've got my money back.
Very historic part of Downtown Tucson. Across the street from the Hotel Congress. Good location for a great night out. As it near a parking garage, bars, and restaurants. So if you are attending a concert or play, it in a perfect location for a complete night out.
I love the Rialto! It's the best place to see a concert at in Tucson hands down! The sound system is usually tuned perfectly, there's not a place in the building where the stage can't be seen,Bartenders are pretty cool and I can honestly say I've never personally had a bad time here! (I would recommend a serious bathroom remodeling)
